I finally played a game of Deadlands Reloaded after dragging my feet on it for a very long time since I enjoyed classic so much. I had a good time and it made me want to dust off my old great rail wars stuff which I probably haven't used since '99. After looking around on the web a bit I see that there is a 2nd edition to the game. Is this the rulebook released in 2001? Can anybody tell me what the differences are? And what are people's opinion about the two editions? Which is better?
Hopefully this isn't falling on deaf ears. I see that this forum hasn't had a post since August.
The 2nd Edition was released in 2001 (the first goes back to 97 I think), but I can't tell you anything really about any differences. Sorry. _________________ Clint Black

Page 137 of the second edition states that the primary changes are the reduction in the number of actions by heroes and some changes in costs and weapon stats.
Other than that I can't tell ya as I have yet to actually read the book.
Hope that helped some. _________________ Stacy Young
