I would be curious if anybody of the fans here uses the crime city rule variant regularly? If yes. What are the longtime experiences with it? Is it much more deadly than vanilla swex? Do the players die regularly? Are they lying around with heavy injuries the whole time? Are bennies still one of the most central factors of the game?
The reason I am asking is: I want to use the SW system for my next Warhammer module series and everybody knows that WH is violent, deadly, dark and gritty. So I thought to use instead of vanilla swex the crime city variant. Any opinions or tipps? Thanks alot in advance.

1) This thread asked the same question which you're currently posing.
2) Realms of Cthulhu includes the crime city damage rules as its "gritty" version of damage.
That said, I think other posters have had more use of it; I personally haven't used them in a setting yet, although I think there's someone using it in their Rippers game and another in some other setting.
