This campaign idea is a rewrite of an epic star wars novel and WEG D6 setting called JEDI CHICKS that I started in 1997. I have finished about 75 pages and a lot of notes and images

Here are my ideas for converting it to a slipstream version, any feedback or suggestions would be useful.


The background will be that before Queen Anathraxa took over there was a loose group of lawmen/heroes called something like the Astro Rangers (replacing JEDI) trying to form a Star League (replacing the old republic) for mutual defense and to promote peaceful trade.

The new big bad and leader of the former queen’s forces is Princess Anathraxa (or maybe something that rymes with another disease maybe starting with a B and the next season the villain starts with c etc…) who is really Clone 13 the most perfect clone so far with boosted psychic powers.

With the fall of the fledgling Star League a vast sinister kingdom had arisen that feed off the decay of Anathraxa’s corruption. From many worldlets have come creatures that wish to hold dominion over others for power and profit. They gather together to prey upon the fearful citizens of the Empire then return to hidden outpost to admire their plunder.

One of these hidden gathering places is Onyun Rull, a barren lifeless fragment all but lost to memory. What few outpost that existed on this world were abandoned during the fall of the star league. This fragment was rediscovered by fugitives seeking a place of seclusion who claimed it as there own. From the hulks of many captured vessels has been fashioned a place of hiding and exchange where anarchy rules and fear is law.

Thus has risen an immense metropolis of violence, deceit and treachery. In this city of greed every thing in the galaxy can be bought or sold for a price. In this city of corruption many beings have been enslaved either in body, mind or soul. In this city of shadows are hidden a few points of light within the darkness


Slipstream Season 2 Astro Chicks


Episode 1

The player party either starts as captives or is captured together or separately and find them selves on the prison fragment Onyun Rull, or they can choose to have been born on the slave planet. According to there skills the player would be in either the mines, the factory, the Arena or the Dance school (laugh up the dance school but a PC rolled up as a Karu (born slave) who was in the dance training since birth gets the Martial Art AB (when holding butcher knives). While trapped on the slave planet they encounter a fellow prisoner one of the last Astro Rangers who imparts to them information and ideals. Each party member would have a personal nemesis usually the overseer of there work unit. The party has to manage to escape and appropriate a small pirate rocket ship the “Star Hussy”. The rocket ship was the launch off a luxury star liner so it has a robot butler C3BO trained in human cyborg cocktail relations who knows over 6 million drink recopies.



Episode 2 Dance of freedom

Freed from Captivity the party tries to hide and take stock of the situation in an abandoned Star League Outpost on a remote fragment. There they find another group already hiding at the base, a gang of Slavers lead by Dak Maddy the space pimp with a shipload of newly captured slave girls waiting for a buyer. The Ship of the buyer shows up with a load of weapons to trade (but the buyer’s engineer Eben O’keef thought they were trading weapons to the rebellion against the empire). Then to add to the fun the former Senator Scara-Lett and her daughters Rosa and Via arrive looking for her kidnapped grand daughter Pinky. Oh and in the sublevels of the outpost is a deadly creature with tentacles and guess ware pinky wandered off to. As in most Episode possible allies can be found to help raise a army to return to the slave planer Onyn Rull

Episode 3 The Star Raven

The heroes arrive at a smuggler gathering looking for supplies when pirates attack. They have a chance to offer aid to one or the other side. They may be able to "Turn" the smugglers and some pirates and capture ships and equipment for the cause.

Episode 4

The heroes are trapped on the "Dink Star" an Imperial Service station full of robot men of all shapes. They need to rescue the good robots and defeat the Imperial's bad robot men and capture the station. Also a fun trip to Junkoweene the garbage fragment for spare parts.



Episode 5

The heroes end up on “The Galactic Queen” a luxury space liner and casino operated by the Black Star crime family. They have to solve the mystery of the captain’s murder. Of course the suspects include Major Muztard, O-Par the Robot maid and the Mad Scientist Professor Purple.



Episode 6 Battle maids:

This adventure involves Imperial recruiters who are trying to take over Memmnon by corrupting an un honorable clan. If they party helps stop the bad clan and capture the Imperials the Memnons may come out of there isolation and fight beside the other races. And this is ware they encounter the nerdy Memnite Librarian seven feet tall with glasses. Oh and there is a GIANT sized steam train chase



Episode 7 The Snake in the trees

On a planetoid of peaceful furry humanoids a big game hunter named Micck "Insert hunted race" Ho'Guun with imperial permission kidnaps furry babies for pets.



Episode 8

The Princess Anathraxa captures the heroes and uses mind control on them to find out what they are doing against her Pirate allies



Episode 9 The Return to Onyon Rull

Fleeing from Imperial Tyranny the Heroes lead a rag tag fugitive fleet to free a sullied world known as Rull. A three pronged attack in space, on land and inside the outpost to take over the outlaw fragment and free all the slaves. The heroes may have to split up as each section needs a leader. First some one has to sneak INTO the slave tunnels underground to get them ready to rebel. Then some one has to enter the city in disguise and with the kitchen and hotel slaves and robots hold up the Casino to keep the rich evil civilians out of the battle. Then a bombing run to knock out the anti aircraft guns. Then a landing of ground forces. And all the while there is a space battle. More evil forces show up and it looks like the Heroes are outnumbered and defeated when another fleet arrivers. Depending on how well they finished each Episode more allies show up late to the party



Episode 10

The heroes and there allies gather forces and prepare to join other groups in a final battle against Princess Anthrax and her allies. Then they go to the party on endor. Wicket tries to chat up Lil'Bacca the wookie toddler and she breaks his nose. The spirits of Obi-Won, Yoda and Anikan try to chat up the sprits of the girl's JEDI GRANDMOTHERS.

You had me at battle maids. Maybe another reason Anthrax hated psychics and cyclops is that the cyclops started the Astro Rangers.

Laugh up the dance school but a PC rolled up as a Karu (born slave) who was in the dance training since birth gets something like the Martial Art AB (when holding butcher knives) and a fancy cape. Remember this is based on the Dancers in Jabba's palace from ROTJ and at the time I started this I had read memories of a Gesha and Sparticus. So I thought of the dancers are in competing schools or Orders and when fully trained are sought out by rich shady people. Jabba Only got dance school washouts still in training brown.


I’m not sure of all the names on the Clue Mystery Ode. For star wars it was all worked out with in universe puns Moff Muztard, Mrs Peku, P-Lum, etc


Yeah Battle Maids will rock. I wanted a race as large as wookiees and thought up the Volk a race of 12 foot Viking like people. A ship of refugees from a steam age planet evacuated from the Krath war crashes on a unknown planet (with two Jedi) and the children born there grow huge and from the one Jedi woman descends a cult of woman warriors with some Psychick Physical powers not quiet as fully trained as JEDI. Battle Maids and War Brides are the un married fighting women training to be full fledged “Sisters of the All Flame”.
