Hi there
You might want to check the Lodge Upgrades you have. Some of those have an upkeep cost in Pounds Per Hour, while some of the earlier upgrades are free.
If that's not the cause, please send me an email and I'll take a look at what might be causing it.
Thanks

Up until about 10 minutes ago, I had a rather healthy income from allies, in spite of lodge upgrades having some upkeep.
Suddenly my income has 'gone'.
Checking out on the allies page, I've discovered that the income now only applies when the income giving allies are 'equipped' to my team, whereas they were providing me with an income 'in the background' before.
This has also happened on my girlfriend's account. Is this intentional, or has something gone wrong? _________________ Currently Playing:

Ouch, yeah, my very big income has gone very negative all of a sudden.
It'd be a real pain to have to swap out allies when I start and stop playing. Is this really the way things are meant to be ? |

Allies with an income are supposed to give you money even when not in your team - they are the only things you can gain a benefit from without "equipping".
We have been making some changes tot he code to allow for certain items to also earn cash - look for those soon - but it looks like we accidentally switched off your allies. I'll go and feed a programmer to the hounds and see if that helps.
Sorry about that. I'll post back when it's fixed.

The game's too awesome to feed a WHOLE programmer to the hounds. Just feed the hound something they don't need for programming ... like a foot _________________ Currently Playing:

| I don't understand the Ally system very well...but I have steadily been losing the number of allies I can recruit. My stat's have not gone down. At one point I had six (possibly seven, I can't recall now)...now I am down to four. |

I'll take your word for it. The only programmer I know in person would probably object to being eaten. Not that I have the desire to eat him, of course _________________ Currently Playing:

The problem has been resolved and the hounds only got a nibble.
Thanks

Yet another bug:
I'm at rank 10 and recruiting ally.
You attend a night at the pub
You've come a long way since the early days, but you still enjoy a drink down at your local pub now and again. As you settle down with your drink, you overhear a hushed dispute from the table behind you. "Now you've really done it, Sally Anne, whoever owns that jewel is going to turn the city upside down looking for it!"
And then choose option 3:
Slipping quietly out of the pub, you move quickly through the night until you find a policeman. Telling him the whole story, you lead him back to the pub and point out Sally Anne and her accomplice through the murky glass of the bar window.
Outcome:
The policeman moves in and the place grows eerily quiet. the accomplice runs for it at the first sign the constable is approaching their table, but Sally Anne is quickly apprehended. The jewel is recovered from her person, and you receive a reward
You gain £5!
..And you can loop this as any other ally quest. So money keeps on coming. |

Enjoy it while it lasts!
This is a holdover from our testing, where these were mightily abused. I thought I'd cleared up all the cash cows - I'll fix this one now.
Thanks

Another change - so I'm not sure if it's a bug, or a feature.
Missile weapons are suddenly doing a lot less Damage.
I have 3 Webley Pistols equipped, and they were doing in the region of 8-11 damage each, depending on what allies I had along with me.
Now they're doing just one each, but my Ballistics Lab (that I've had for a while, and assumed was adding damage to my pistols, though perhaps I was wrong) is now adding damage after my Melee attacks.
Is this correct? _________________ Currently Playing:

This is a change we're working on - the weapons were building damage off each other and allies in some unexpected ways. We're working on tuning up the weapon damage to compensate.
Thanks

The dog track is a cheap afternoon's entertainment, if you don't gamble. You ignore the tipster's advice and return to you thoughts.

Strange Happenings At Yardshire Hall? (53)
Even with a courage of 16 I can not manage to pass the first test (courage 6 needed). I tried several times. |

Minorish possible bug.
Just did the Expedition mission with Renwick. During the Snow Beast fight there was no picture of the snow beast. |

Witches seem to be like that in general when I fight them. They either don't attack or critically fail for the rest of the time.
I have the Gymnasium upgrade (-1 wound penalty to speed) and the Planning Room (-1 wound penalty to intellect) and those bonuses do not reflect in my wound adjustments. Though, sometimes they do, seemingly at random. _________________ Kevin Rohan, Content Director
