Strewth! When did we stop just calling them paper miniatures!?
I wasn't sure if this should go in the official settings or licensee sections as it's an actual Pinnacle production. If I'm wrong, please move me.
Anyway, in slavering anticipation of the forthcoming Space 1889 campaign for Savage Worlds (two great tastes that must surely taste great together!), I thought I'd pucker up and plop out some paper minis.
This is wave 01. It includes a couple of Canal Martians, two Hill Martians, two High Martians, a pair of Mechanical Men, some Coldstream Guards and an officer. If there's enough interest and I don't get distracted by shiny things I'll do a Wave 2 with Selenites, Venusians, a Gashaunt or two and maybe some adventurers.
I'll add anything new that I do here. In the meantime, click on the link to download the PDF.
Cutting and folding should be self-explanatory. Once folded, the minis should be perfectly mirrored so it's possible to cut closely around them.
Enjoy,
Crow
UPDATED 6th April 2011
I missed the Red Sands pre-gen characters when they were posted - I rarely read the news page - so these are somewhat tardy. Not to worry, better late than never, what?
Laydeez and jennelmen! May I present to you, paper miniature versions of the Space:1889 Red Sands Pre-Gen characters available from the Pinnacle Downloads page:
UPDATED 26th August 2010 - To celebrate the semi-release of Red Sands, I've managed to find the time to do a few more paper minis. I've not got my copy of the book yet so these are still pretty generic 1889 figures.
Included in this wave are a page of Venusians adding to the original two from the earlier set. A page of Gashaunts and some British Army riders. Some Sailors, some Martian Foreign Legion and a couple of characters from the Moon adventure in the original rule book. These are from my own Savaging of that adventure and were used with the Selenite minis below. Finally, there's Kronos who I suspect might be pretty useful to those running Red Sands.
UPDATED 27th April 2009 - added in Wave 2. This was originally going to be a whole seperate set but I wanted to redo some of the originals because I wasn't quite happy with them, so I've done the whole thing as a whole new PDF file.

Official Settings is the correct board. The Licensees board is for Savage settings produced by companies other than Pinnacle like Reality Blurs and Triple Ace Games. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Awesome! I can hardly wait for this setting to come out.
(The Victorian era is one of my favorite time-periods to springboard into RPG settings, whether it's spiced up with a bit of horror, steampunk, faerie folk, Wonderlandish weirdness, or some or all of the above. I just wish I could manage a proper accent to do a decent job at GMing it!) _________________

I've added new minis to the first post.
I was originally going to add an entirely new range and a seperate PDF, but I wanted to do redo some of the original wave because they were either a bit clumsy or printed out too dark etc. So I've put them all together in one new PDF file.
The new file has the old minis redone and some new ones: The three characters from the cover painting for Red Sands
I've also added in two more High Martians, two more Canal Martians a Venusian tribesman and a Venusian ambassador. There are also two Selenites and finally Lady Amelia "Bulldog" Burton.
I'll add some more when I have the time

Beautiful! That Venusian diplomat would be a perfect mini for my old character! He was a Venusian tech prodigy, and wore a top hat and carried a pocket watch! Unfortunately, he ended up as the decorative head on the Gaunt Man's walking stick. _________________ "Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Okay then, still waiting for Red Sands, I decided to run the adventure, 'On Gossamer Wings' from the Space:1889 rulebook, concerning a manned mission to the dark side of the moon. In order to do this, I needed to knock up some Selenite minis. I figured it might be nice to make them available to anyone else interested in visiting the moon. Click on the image to download the PDF.
If you are, I heartily recommend this superb re-write of the adventure because the original is a little railroady, sidelining the players in favour of the main NPC.
Find the rewrite here:

Thanks, Scarecrow!
If it's not too much trouble, could you post black outline versions of these, particularly the first one? A little recolouring can extend the usefulness of paper minis that extra little bit.
And thanks for the link to drpetrov.com. There's a lot of good Space 1889 stuff there. |

Fantastic work sir. I look forward to using them as soon as I am capable. And now I am even more eager for Savage 1889.
Also, thank for the Rewrite "On Gossamer Wings" link. I will be looking through that shortly. |

Beautiful! Now we only need the savaged Space 1889 to come out.
Any word about a rough date? Maybe a month? |

Well, here's Kronos. (edit - see below)
I've not added a link yet as I'll add him and his chums to the 'third wave' I currently have in progress.

Cool mini... but it's Kronos. I just knew that typo would come back to haunt me the second I decided not to tell Shane about it.
Really, really cool minis, by the way. And your enthusiasm for the Red Sands edition is very, very encouraging. Thanks. _________________ Matthew Cutter
