I would Markus, but I just don't have space in my brain right now.
Soon though.

It's horrifying zombie space monkies! You know Shane likes a subtle hint of horror in his campaigns. Subtle. Like the Three Stooges with a pipe wrench subtle. _________________ The day mutant zombies rise in my town is the day I get to be a hero. |

Wait, Shane doesn't have "space" in his brain because of the 1889 pages of red tape he has to deal with. _________________ Roll For News a podcast about what's new and noteworthy in Tabletop RPGs |

Heh, we've been saying that all along. SPACE in his brain, indeed. _________________ I'm not an adversarial GM. I am a facilitator of awesomeness. - Dr Rotwang |

As I mentioned in that thread, it doesn't appear to be an exclusive license:
| Heliograph website wrote: | And What About New Space: 1889 Material?
Aside from the TRMGS archives and the reprints, we don't have any other agreement with Frank, so if you're a game company owner and would like to license the Space: 1889 RPG, you're free to negotiate with Frank for the property. |
There's apparently a licensed German version using the Ubiquity system in the works now, too.
Hopefully we'll find out today. _________________ Andrew |

Frankly, I think Shane has to much space on his calendar. About 1,889 hours worth! _________________ Roll For News a podcast about what's new and noteworthy in Tabletop RPGs |

Out with it, Hensley! It's Space 1889, or nothing. Don't get me wrong, whoever said something about Star Trek is my kind of person. Used to play the old FASA version, Last Unicorn Games, and Decipher's Trek. Savage Trek would be awesome, but I have no reason to believe that will happen. The new movie(good or bad) will bring about another rpg most likely, but it won't be through Savage Worlds. |

I'm as down with a Space 1889 Savaged Edition as anyone, but I can't help but think that I might just prefer a Savaged John Eric Stark or John Carter. Certainly, I have already ordered Adamant's new MARS setting for SWEX which captures the feel of those. _________________ Christian Lindke

I don't even know what Space 1889 is about, but if it gets Savaged, I'm all for it.

OK.

I ain't sayin' nothin'. Except that the surprise is already written, and is now undergoing editing, so this is not a project that's just going to fade into the ether like a few of our previous projects have.
With luck, it will be a late summer release.

| Summer! I was hoping after all these teases we were going to get it immediately. Ah well, I can wait. Will re-read my classic 1889 books in the meantime... |

Thomas Edison invented something to help with that Luminiferous aether, though. Should certainly come in handy with this! _________________ Markus
