I'm looking for a good intro adventure for Savage Worlds. None of my players have played Savage Worlds before and I've only run a couple adventures a long time ago. I've converted a couple adventures from other systems (mainly to get a feel for the system), but none of them are playtested so I don't think I should use any of them as an introduction to the system. So, are there any good introduction adventures I can use? I think sticking to classic fantasy would be best, but I'll take anything at this point. A long adventure/mini-campaign would be fine as we wont be able to start a proper campaign until sometime in March. Any suggestions? _________________ http://tristansnexus.wordpress.com/ - A gallery of some of the minis I've painted over the years |

"Against the Orcs!". Basic Fantasysetting with... well Orcs. Shows you how to battle on the individual level, with allies and mass combat. And has a dungeon crawl.
Best. Intro. Ever. 'nuff said... _________________ "So, how much Experience do I get for the bard?" |

The new version of Eye Of Kilquato is an excellent warm-up for new players. It showcases all the major mechanics in the game and its fast-paced enough to keep everyone engaged but also allows a lot of roleplaying if you want it. The free tiles and figure flats are awesome as well. The group I run for right now are relatively new Savages and they had a blast with it as their first outing.
On the fantasy front I highly recommend Noble Deceit. It also comes with very cool tiles and figure flats and serves as a good intro as well.
I've ran each of these adventures a few times and they are always fun. _________________ I'm not an adversarial GM. I am a facilitator of awesomeness. - Dr Rotwang |

The Terra Ariel - Sci-Fi
Against the Orcs - Fantasy
And if the setting is specific (ask if you want a write-up in english):
Homemade Intro - Warhammer 40k (Inquisition)
Homemade Intro - Star Trek (rogue traders)
Homemade Intro - Pseudo-historical London (Gentlemans club) _________________ My Conversions:

I would also say:
Against the orcs - if you want straight fantasy which shows many aspects of SW (mass combat, dungeon crawling, ...)
Eye of the kilquato - if you want to get the pulp style of SW (the pregenerated characters are VERY cool. They offer many chances for great roleplaying )
There are many other very good free adventures, but those 2 are my favorites. |

Where can I find Against the Orcs? Can it be downloaded somewhere? _________________ http://tristansnexus.wordpress.com/ - A gallery of some of the minis I've painted over the years |

Sadly, Against the Orcs is no longer available for download. , although many Savages have it.
The top three free adventures that I've had the most fun with are Against the Orcs, Eye of Kilquato, and Jared's Folly/Red Swamp. I haven't run Tomb of Terrors, but I've read several posts on the forums that seem to indicate it is a good adventure.
I'd second Noble Deciet as a good adventure. It has 3 parts that could easily be added to if you want to make them longer. |

This!
I've run this adventure before with Novice players and it was a blast! Definitely use the pregens, as the combination of characters promises to make for an interesting evening of roleplaying. Really, I can't recommend this adventure enough!
