Woot! Congrats, Sean and company!

This is exactly why we do the license the way we do, folks. A few trusted companies who create fantastic works and have the ambition to go after something really cool does all of us a lot of good, bringing more people in to the fold and giving us all awesome new worlds to play in--and people to play with.

Actually, no...
They botch it and everyone on earth dies horribly.

One significant advantage Savage Worlds has over BRP in doing Call of Cthulhu is that the character creation process is much faster.

Ah, a perfect time to roll out an old song! #Silly

Fhtagn Cthulhu (sung to “Spongebob Squarepants”)
by Clint Black

Cultist: Are you ready, Squids?
Star-Spawn: Ai-eee, cultist!

Cultist: I don't fear you!
Star-Spawn: Ai-eee, cultist!!

Cultist: Ohh.... who sleeps in a town sunken under the sea?
Star-Spawn: FHTAGN CTHULHU!

Cultist: Tentacled and bloated, our Dread Lord is he!
Star-Spawn: FHTAGN CTHULHU!

Cultist: If non-Euclidian worlds rivet your dreams,
Star-Spawn: FHTAGN CTHULHU!

Cultist: Then snap like a twig and let loose your screams!
Star-Spawn: FHTAGN CTHULHU!

Cultist: Ready?
All together: Fhtagn Cthulhu, Fhtagn Cthulhu, Fhtagn Cthulhu, Fhtagn... Cthulhu!

Cultist: Haha! - Bwah ha ha ha HA ha HA!

I think I was actually bouncing in my chair a little as I was reading along and imagining the music. Either I enjoyed Clint's lyrics (and after the roundtable, how could I not?) or the sanity loss has finally caught up to me. #1drooling3

Cthulhu in song?
Reminds me of A Shoggoth On The Roof, available here.

Now I've got the Sponge Bob music and Clint's lyrics running through my head. I think I just felt a Sanity point vanish. Wink

I am particularly fond of the Yule time set...

I love their "Carol Of The Old Ones"

Yup, "Scary Solstice" is great.

I also like "It's beginning to look a lot like Fishmen"

I'm overjoyed to here this.

I started running my annual Halloween Cthulhu game in Savage Worlds last year. My initial reason for moving to Savage Worlds was that I had to generate a dozen character before the game for my players and simply did not have the time to do it in BRP. In the end the game was a lot of fun. The players felt that Savage Worlds worked Geat for Cthulhu.

I can't wait to see what you do with the license.

Do I smell Plot point? That would be incredible!
