For those wondering why there haven't been any new Savage profiles recently, a bizarre set of circumstances have resulted in delays. The next property I had intended to do was Kiddy Grade. However, the sixth disk has gone out of circulation at Netflix. So until I can obtain some (preferably legal) streaming video of the relevant episodes, that's on hold. So I decided to next do Pumpkin Scissors, which I had seen a few episodes of at ConCarolinas and thought it looked interesting. But wouldn't you know, the fourth disk of that series has gone out of circulation at Netflix. To say this is confounding is a bit of an understatement.

If you haven't checked it out, I would strongly recommend it. The good folks at Studio Gonzo have taken some liberties that'll likely offend the more uptight Shakespeare buffs. For example, Juliet is quite a badarse while Romeo is comparitively a bit of a wuss (but you probably guessed that from the way she has more Combat Edges). And Tybalt isn't a psychotic jerkwad, he's just psychotic. If that sort of thing doesn't chafe your hinder though, it's pretty awesome.

There's a lot of Disney characters at Savaged Characters. Not all of them quite follow the rules (like the Genie from Aladdin), but they sure are interesting. A few others are on the site too, like the Penguin from Batman.
