Many of you have probably thought to yourselves at some point, "A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett is a nice enough story, but it would have been even better if it had featured giant robots in space blowing *#%* up." Or not. Regardless, someone must have had such thoughts, as that is what STR.A.IN. (which is where my latest batch of Savage Profiles come from) essentially is. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... The rabbit... It's a time-tested... Holey Crap! I'd forgotten about this series. I've gotta find it and make my kids watch it with me. _________________ Proud co-creator of the 1,000+ Random Encounter Generator found here! |

| Some interesting ideas. But for the A-Team, if you really wanted to stat up those guys, the exploding dice of SW is the only reason you can explain what they were doing. But I put a maybe because somethings probably can't or more properly shouldn't be savaged. I'd love to see what Savage Worlds could do for a campaign based off the Knight Rider franchise though. |

I imagine at some point I'll rent some A-Team DVDs so that I can write up some proper Savage profiles and show you all!!!!! _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... The rabbit... It's a time-tested... Okay, the rabbit bites.

What about Savage Middle-earth?
Savage Nausicaa in the Valley of Wind?
Savage Pirates of the Caribbean? (I'll be doing this anyway when I get my copy of Pirates of the Spanish Main. ) |

Mostly I do whatever happens to pop up in my Netflix queue. Currently I'm working on the Nineties cartoon version of The Tick. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... The rabbit... It's a time-tested... Okay, the rabbit bites.

A word of warning. One of the rules on the Pinnacle Forums is that you may not directly post character profiles or conversions of copyrighted material on the forums. Indirect posting (that is, providing a link to a web site or blog with said material) is acceptable. The profiles Lord Skudley posted near the beginning of this thread are okay because Sherlock Holmes is in the public domain. But I'm reasonably sure that the copyright on Labyrinth hasn't expired yet. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... The rabbit... It's a time-tested... Get ready to swat evil with the rolled-up newspaper of justice, for I have just posted Savage profiles for The Tick. And remember, eating kittens is just wrong. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... The rabbit... It's a time-tested... Okay, the rabbit bites.

Only thing I might suggest is to drop Combat Reflexes and add Hardy to Toughness. The Tick seemed to get Shaken quite a bit (and not recover so so), but he was harder to seriously hurt (nigh invulnerable).
In fact, I think it works pretty well to look at it as when Shaken, he typically plays his Quirk to earn a Benny to recover from being Shaken.

Thanks to the Blacks Friday Sale, I got a copy of the Super Heroes Companion I ordered from Beautiful Brains the other day. I adjusted my profiles for The Tick to take into account some material not present in Necessary Evil. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... I guess you couldn't savage the A-Team. |
Well it took me a while, but I have proven that statement to be WRONG. As always, the link is in the origin post. _________________ The rabbit is cuddly. Kids like little cuddly sidekicks. I mean... The rabbit... It's a time-tested... Okay, the rabbit bites.
