Figure I would give a bit of summary of my new campaign since you all helped me get some good answers.

The Posse
Templar
Junker
Heavy Cyborg
Infiltration Cyborg - Does not know they are a cyborg
Film Maker - Based on Librarian
10 year old Law Dog

The Heavy cyborg is from the Earth version where mankind won, when Stone entered Hunting Grounds to go back in time, he followed and got lost and ended up in HoE. so he comes from 2094 where mankind beat the Reckoners and found himself in 2094 where mankind lost.

The Film Maker uses most of the skills of the librarian but with different names. Instead of Hush! they have Light! Camera! Action! which provides the same benefits. The only new skill they have so far is Makeup! which is a minor self heal.

The 10 year old Law Dog is the son of the previous Marshal of Dodge City (Virgil Earp). When his father was gunned down, he picked up his fathers badge, gun, and duster and carried on as marshal.

The posse was gathered from all over the West for a reading of a will. One of the party members inherited The Lady Luck Hotel/Casino in downtown Dodge City. This actually ties the group with the original characters they played 5+ years ago when I ran Deadlands, then the same player run the Lady Luck Saloon in Dodge City. So their great, great, great, grand whatevers (they are all decendents of the original party) are brought back together and are again the owners of The Lady Luck right in the middle of the Dodge City deadlands.

Be kind of hard to run a saloon in the middle of a nuked city, wouldn't it?

Yes and no. After all Boise has a pretty decent population and a lower fear level due to the Templars being based there. So you can live in the nuked cities it is just dangerous.

Plus I decided the 10 year old Law Dog's father spent years fighting and took out enough critters before dying to lower the Fear Level by 1 so it is no longer a true deadland. It is actually starting to repopulate and if the posse do decide to hang out and fight the good fight, I have a serious bad dude (Grand Opening for Needful Things) for them to take down after a few adventures to drop the Fear Level another notch if they do enough of a good job.

Not to give anything away but there is a reason why the Templars have not lowered the Fear Level in Boise any more than they have, Dodge City does not have that built in problem.

I like the adaptation for the Film Maker/Librarian power set.
Something that would fit in with the Librarian/Film Maker theme for healing is a one-on-one interview. The two characters rp for the amount of time the interview has to last depending on the wound level being healed. As the interview goes on the character being healed begins to feel better and better until at the end he has been healed up a bit. For something like this I would be tempted to go with the Templar style of healing that heals a single wound level across the entire body and should be limited to once per 24 hour period. I'd also add in a requirement that the person benefitting from the healing actually give up some personal information or be confronted directly about something from his past in order to get the benefits of the healing.

Sounds like this ought to be a good unifying anchor point for the posse once they have the city back under control. After that they can venture out into the Wastes and have some great adventures righting wrongs, then head back to the Lady Luck where they can recuperate in relative safety, while continuing to root out villains and ne'er-do-wells in Dodge.

Good luck with the game, hope everyone has fun with their descendants in the Wastes.
