L-L-L-LOW LIFE!
I told my players we were going to just play a one-shot and they fell in love with it. We're now in the thick of the plot point.
This GM is tricksy! |

Sadly nothing. Tonight will be 2+ hours of dealing with political infighting of a poorly organized social group.
I'd rather be with LegandaryBard that sounds awesome.

Nada. The host of our usual Saturday night game is off to the Outer Banks so we played last night instead.
We kicked off my Deadlands campaign!
And I almost killed everyone
You're topic title brought back fond college memories, and not of gaming. I was in charge of officially starting the weekend debauchery, you see. Upon leaving the last class of the day on Friday, I would send a photo via text of Dave Chapelle dressed as Rick James with the caption, "It's friday, b%$ches*! Lets get @#$!-ed* up!"
Good times!
*radio edit, of course

My gaming night is Friday, played over Maptool (finally back in now that the deployment's over).
I blasted some infected zombie-types, then climbed up the arm of an exosuit and stabbed the user through a crack in the faceplate. |

Same here actually!!! When I was in the Army I was in charge of alchohol for the "Party Platoon"!!! My rank was "Thirst Seargent"...

I'm playing a fun and exciting game called House Shopping. Same stupid game I've been playing for the past 6 months. And let me tell you folks, it does get old. Really old.

Playtesting continues for the Savage Worlds edition of Terracide! We're working on space combat tonight, with the PCs manning a Celestial Guard Fleet Intruder attached to the defense squadron at Omicron Free Station.
Scenario #1: Intercept a pair of ISTAR Customs Patrol vessels which violate Omicron's space, and prevent them from leaving the system. ISTAR has no idea the Celestial Guard is assisting Omicron Colony, and the Interim Council wants to keep it that way.
Scenario #2: The heavy cruiser Ticonderoga has deserted the Terran Home Fleet and is now in the Omicron Eridani system, demanding resupply. Its captain threatens to attack Omicron Free Station if his demands are not met, endangering thousands of refugees. The PCs' squadron is given orders to carry out a nuclear strike mission against the massive vessel.
In scenario #1, the PCs were one of two Fleet Intruders; their "wingman" was crewed by extras and became an early casualty, leaving them to take on both patrol ships themselves. They did so successfully.
In scenario #2, all four Intruders in the PCs' squadron participated in the strike mission. It was a surprise attack in which the Intruders emerged from hyperspace at high speed, launching nukes before the target could respond. However, a few personnel on board Ticonderoga succeeded in acquiring sensor locks and firing "medium" weapons, resulting in the loss of one allied ship. (out of four) The target was then destroyed by nuclear missile barrage.
Overall it was a useful playtest, for the purpose of making sure Terracide's space combat rules are playable. What we established: Wild Cards outclass Extras in space combat the same as any other type of combat. A 50,000 ton Cruiser's "medium" armaments can one-shot kill a 250 ton Intruder. But three Intruders launching a surprise nuclear missile barrage will vaporize the Cruiser. _________________ 300 years from today: After the Terracide... the lifeless, charred husk of humanity's homeworld slowly cools in the empty, silent void of a dead star system.
Welcome to the rest of the Galaxy. It's Dark Out There.
Coming in 2013. |

Star Wars: Edge of Rebellion (beta)... Play Bounty Hunters, Fringers, Techs or others who live on the rim during the rise of the Empire. The Jedi are gone (and passed nearly out of memory).
Can you survive? Can you eek out a living?
The only issue... the custom dice needed to play it... _________________ My Blog of Random Gaming: http://www.daemonstorm.com

| Due to schedules and such, we get to get our game on only every other weekend. This is not one of those weekends. Next sunday we'll continue The Flood though. |

Saturday - dragged into old D&D. Did have a great story, but as usual, rules got in the way of some of the fun. But when you get to explode a Huge White Dragon, life is good.
Sunday - Fantasy setting game cancelled by GM on account of a real life baptism... good for the recipient, bad for me as there was no game and I just watched US football instead... _________________ There is no problem in this Universe that can't be solved with the application of roasted porcine flesh...
