I'm getting ready to run a Deadlands: Reloaded game, and I have a couple of questions I've not been able to figure out.

First, if a player uses a Red Fate Chip, the Marshall gets to draw a free chip; what happens if the Marshall uses a red chip? Does the posse get a chip (and how would you work out which member?, or does it act like a blue chip?

The posse never benefits from the Marshal using fate chips. The Marshal cannot use Legend chips. The Marshal only benefits when a player uses a Red chip to add to a trait roll, not when they use it to re-roll, remove Shaken, or make a soak roll.

The first sentence seems to answer my question. So when the Marshall uses fate chips, red and blue chips are identical?
