Now those of you who pay attention to Slipstream might say "Hey, Rurites are pacifists. Why does he have a gun?"
Obviously it is a stun weapon, and not because I failed to remember their pacifism. I mean, how could I forget when it is written clearly right there on page 14.

Why does everything shaped like that have to be a gun?

Since Pyrite is the mineral known as Fool's Gold, perhaps it would make sense to give the race a golden coloring?

The description just said humanoid stone men. Technically Iron Pyrite is a metal. I'm just going off of the provided descriptions in Slipstream. _________________ My Savage Worlds Blog

I thought it was mineral, since it's a molecule made of a metal and a non-metal. Either way, the picture is awesome, and I think you'd get the effect of both the description and the name if you covered it with little flecks of yellow (which may be what people were suggesting) _________________ Lord Inar

Good answer!
And great drawings! I like your style, and I'd like to see your take on the main races too. _________________ You can't save the world without kicking a few old ladies down the stairs. |

So did this ever get made into figure flats? I so understand how losing your job can change your life. I hope that everything is going well now.
The work that you have done has been phenomenal to this point. _________________ http://www.armsonline.org/

Guys on the german Tanelorn Forum wrote a small Java App to create your own Flats (http://zerghase.die-informatiker.eu/flatscreator.jar).
You only need to install the newest version of the Java VM, and prepare your pictures with transparency instead of the background (GIMP, Photoshop etc will do the job).
Have fun! _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who know binary and those who don't. |

The original plan was that they would be turned into a figure flat download here at Pinnacle. I don't know how that is all working out.
In the mean time, I'm updating my digital portfolio and building a little somethin'-somethin'. It's sci-fi gear cards. Here's a sample.

They are actualy called something else, I call them it...the name starts with a V, and is on the long list of aliens. I did find a pic of it in the character flats, they had them look more like racoons...
Sorry away from book right now, but let me say you do GREAT work |
