Greetings!
So I rewatched Priest last night. With very little tweeking it could easily be Night Train in the Wasted West. Any other flicks you guys could recommend to get the Hell on Earth feel? There are a lot of good post-apoc movies but I'm not sure they ALL fit HoE. So what's your favorite Hell on Earth inspired movies?
Old School feel
Mad Max 2
Escape from New York
Hardware
Doomsday
Vampire Post Apoc
Stakeland
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
I am Legend
Priest
Other
Reign of Fire
Water World (I actually like this movie even though it BOMBED)
The Matrix (and Animatrix. I hated the other two)
The Road
Barbwire
Terminator movies
Resident Evil movies
Book of Eli

Maybe it's got other trappings but the re-imagined "Battlestar Galactica" is definitely post-apocalyptic. As is the old BBC series "Tripods".
Of course there's a lot to be learned from "Firefly" even though it is not - strictly speaking - post-apoc. |

Just got through watching "The Dark Ages" documentary from the History Channel on Netflix. That will definitely give you food for thought for post apocalyptic situations. _________________ http://www.armsonline.org/

Not a movie, but you could do worse than watching a bit of Thundarr the Barbarian.
And of course, try and watch ZombieLand and tell me that Tallahassee ISN'T a PC. _________________ Read my blog! Untold Tales of the Teen Templars!

They're TERRIBLE movies, but it strikes me that MST3K did several films that could be used as inspiration, including Robot Holocaust and Warrior of The Lost World. _________________ Read my blog! Untold Tales of the Teen Templars!
