|
|
One of the things my group started doing early on to save table space was to measure everything in centimeters rather than inches. It uses 40% as much space.
The problem is that the templates are all done in inches rather than cm, so I made up a set of templates in cm. They're pdfs.
Here they are: https://hotfile.com/dl/163253268/49e3e24/Templates_in_cm.zip.html _________________ "Anybody else feel like fishing for Rattlers?"

| If you've got existing templates measured in inches that you're fond of, you can use the printing dialogue box to print at 39.3% scale, and they'll come out in centimeters for you. (That is, a 6-inch diameter in your PDF will print as a 6-centimeter diameter on your paper.) |

I wanted everything to be exact, so I did up my own. Either way works.
Oh, I included two pdfs. One is the traditional template with flames in them, the other are clear to allow printing on clear medium for people with that ability. _________________ "Anybody else feel like fishing for Rattlers?"

That's a great idea! My group is plagued with small tables, and a cm scale could really give us a lot of freedom to design much bigger, more elaborate maps.
It also occurs to me that this could be useful in running a mech-based game, using cm scale for infantry and in scale for the mechs. I'm gonna have to let these brain-juices ripen for a bit... _________________ You can't save the world without kicking a few old ladies down the stairs. |

| It's a good idea, but then my minis would be off-scale, and that would set off my CDO terribly! |
