| I keep seeing people mention Damocles soldiers as "super soldiers". Was there something in classic about this? I didn't see anything about Damocles soldiers being better than anyone else other than the bonus experience they start with. |

Seriously!
Super Soldiers were the result of a specific program, starting in World War 2, that transformed subjects into stronger, tougher, and dumber versions of themselves. Only the strongest and healthiest successfully underwent the process. Several governments, including both the USA and CSA, had Super Soldier programs.
This has not (yet) been Reloaded.
Operation: Damocles was a back-up plan of the U.S. Government, where Special Forces teams were put into suspended animation to be awoken after nuclear war - with the plan to rebuild civilization and the United States of America.
In Classic, the storage system provided increased Strength, along with more starting resources, and some free skills.
Does that clear things up?

| So is the bonus experience the players get, boosting them to seasoned, kinda the same thing as the boosted strength and resources? |

Also note that per starting with experienced characters in SW, starting funds double at each Rank higher, so they also have "better resources" through that as well.
