looking forward to it. shame about the cover. just does not seem to fit the setting and is a bit of an odd looking set up.
yes the cover show a character and monster from the setting but it just looks too "clean"
never mind. i will not judge the book by its cover, as i have being looking forward to a savage hell on earth for years.
hope the ghost rock bombs drop soon and we can soak up the rads  |

I wasn't going to say anything more than above....but I spoke to a source as reliable as they come at Origins, and he said it'd be out for GenCon.

How "out there" is this book? Meaning, I've seen the August timeframe bandied about, but no mention from my FIGS about it being on any pre-order lists yet. Last Sons is also an August book, and I've had that on pre-order for a while now.
So yeah, while I can't give my money to anyone yet, I'd like them to know its coming!!

My understanding is that it has been late summer for months now (maybe even a year). Plus the discussion surrounding Deadlands Noir, and how it wouldn't affect HoER points to it being pretty ready for release. We'll just have to wait and see what updates are posted.

So, it's far enough out that Joel can't be certain when it will arrive, but it is close enough that he has enough of a date to tease everyone (including himself) about it.
I'm speculating that it's on the boat and PEG is waiting to make sure there are no shipping troubles (customs, typhoons, pirates, or wrecked ships).

I am willing to provide some confirmation and clarification on Cutter's remarks. (No, really, inside of my head, it matters.)
He is correct in that it is not yet shipped to the printer. He is also correct that it will be here freakin' soon (though not immediately in a printed format).
And I believe that's about all I've got to say about it today.

Heh, I was just wondering when it might show up on pre-order lists at game stores
Printing, shipping, customs, inspections, delivery to distributors, then to stores... that all seems crazy to put time estimates on!
But yup, today is Updateday (tm). Woot!
(Do harrowed wait with baited breath, or does it always smell that way?)
