Or course I cannot find it now, but...
I saw where someone had shown a logical order in which the B&B Adventures could be run.
If I remember right they started in the south and worked their way into the north.
Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? _________________

Yes, and it bugged the living hell outta me that I couldn't find it again. Was starting to wonder if I dreamed it.
Check out the Green World review by Andy S. over at DriveThruRPG.
I just knew I wasn't crazy... _________________ I've often speculated why you don't return to America. Did you abscond with the church funds? Run off with a senator's wife? I like to think you killed a man. It's the Romantic in me. |

Depends if you're only including the freebie adventures or the purchased ones as well. I ran the books adventure and the freebies before I bought the others, but by the time I purchased them my gaming group had started in on another campaign. Many of my players PCs' were from coastal and southern kingdoms like Syranthia, Iron Empire, Kyros, and the Ivory Savannah so I went with this order which started in the west and then worked northerly and easterly:
The Carnival at Nal Sagath (Borderlands near Syranthia) > Wolves in the Borderlands (Borderlands near Caledland) > The Cliff Queen’s Court (Cairnlands) > starter adventure in the B&B Golden book (Zandor).
That meant swinging a bit south for Zandor, but I brought in a nice boating adventure across the Drowned King sea. If you have a majority of your PC's from northern and eastern kingdoms like Northeim, Cairnlands, Valkheim or Zandor, I'd recommend working in the other direction/order. IIRC the purchased adventures all start south-west of the others, so they'd all go before, or after, what I have listed. |

How I built the list was to print off a copy of the map, then mark on it where all the adventures take place, and join the dots.
Then, I picked a starting point (Independent Cities) and an end point (Gis) and worked through them in order, more or less.
The sequence will change as more items come out.
If I were doing it again, I wouldn't bother, because as it turns out my players don't care - I'd run it more like the Conan stories, where he's just wherever the adventure is whenever it happens, and the stories are NOT told in chronological order.
The lack of chronological order could be a problem regarding advances, but I really don't think it would matter, at least not with my group. _________________ Andy
