After listening to the DL:N audio and Coot's descendant, it got me thinking about establishing a Heritage edge to reflect a generational campaign. Maybe a variation of the Veteran of the WW with less bad stuff? Thoughts?
well i'm not entirely sure how i'd run some thing like this but the first thing that comes to my head is that they gain 5 skill points that can only be ones that make sense for that persons heritage. and maybe a minor hinderance to go along with it probably enemy would be a good one to represent the people the persons family was feuding with. but the hindrance could be any thing like the whole family is stubborn or ugly or greedy or heroic (yes i know they aren't all minor.) etc.
I've been thinking of something similar. One of my characters is looking at spending the next few decades in Folsom prison (pretty sure San Quentin is under the ocean somewhere), so he might come out of there right around DLN. He'll probably need to take the Elderly hindrance, though.
yeah but if that happened they wouldn't feel inclined to stay in prison much longer. also if he fell asleep and someone checked in on him then they would have to bury him any way. probably to much of a classic escape trick but you have to admit harrowed are good at playing dead.
