| Are the Deadlands pregen characters up to date with the Deluxe ruleset? It looks like they are to me but I wanted to check with the experts. |

No and Yes. They haven't changed since they came out (back during DL:R) but nothing they have was changed by Deluxe.

So you mean that they came out with the first version of Deadlands Reloaded (back when it was made for Savage Worlds Revised) and didn't change after either SWEX or SWDX?
If these characters do get updated, I hope that Gabriella "Vendetta" Vasquez no longer has a horse named Mina. It just seems really bizarre that she's naming her trusty steed after the rail baron who's trying to kill her!

Pretty much. I'm not sure exactly when they were released, but I know they have not yet been updated since Deluxe Edition came out.
However, since Reloaded introduced a few mechanics that filtered back into the Core Rules (melee weapon damage as dice, fanning the hammer, and ... something else), things from it rarely need "updating".

Those pregens were released in 2008 after the second printing of SWEX was out.

She's both vengeful and stubborn; it suits her temperament to ride Mina's back every day.
