Is there a special power or edge that removes fatigue faster than normal? It would seem like, given the cost, Regeneration should do it (it would be weird to spend 15 points on full regeneration but you can be easily fatigued).

The Revive modifier of the Healing power allows you to remove Fatigue.

There's also Succor, but it's a core rules power.

Could you just get the modifier without the healing power, because he can't heal anyone else.

Or, I wonder if we could just make it a modifier to regeneration. If you've spent your 15 points for max regeneration, and can regrow your body, the next thing it could start on is every round tackling fatigue once it's done with wounds.

The Revive modifier (+2) only works once per day per victim, and caps at 1 level. Which means, for this guy, it would work once each day, giving him 3 effective levels of Fatigue before Incapacitation. Which doesn't sound like what you're after, but does counteract a lot of my following.

And you now have the most boring super-combatant ever.
If it's not Mind Control or some kind of binding effect, then it won't last on this guy. So, he's either basically unstoppable, or spending the entire fight at the bottom of a hole in the ground - either way he's detracting from the fun at the table (by stealing all the glory or having to be in the 'penalty box').

Just my own 2 cents, but I think if you try and mix healing capabilities into powers more associated with a combatant hero you lose some flavor of the super heroes setting. IMO the rules work well as they are, but that does mean that healers are often odd ball heroes with more of a support role - really not a bad thing. The best way IMO to handle fatigue management (and wound management) is to have a PC with Heal + Revive (2) swappable with another power. Unless your running a Street Heros campaign, that still leaves that PC with enough points to have an effective attack power and build in a decent defense.

I think this might be reasonable as long as it only removed Fatigue caused by hazards. This would effectively remove your need to eat, drink or sleep, it would allow you to heal bumps and bruises very quickly, you probably couldn't drown, you wouldn't die from exposure, etc.

But Healing, Mind Reading, Teleport, etc, would still cause you Fatigue as normal.

We're trying to replicate Dorian Grey's (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) or Wolverine's (Marvel Comics) super-regeneration. It's a one-trick pony. We wanted to include fatigue but limiting it to damage-caused fatigue sounds fine. We'd also want to make avoiding shaken fairly easy - he's oblivious at this points to wounds, so shooting him unless it's a mess of damage doesn't bother him. This, other than Ageless, is really his only superpower.

Super edge - Combat Reflexes. That +2 is massive, especially since he can afford to make his Spirit a good die type (d8, for a sweet Raise rate of 47.9%).

Depending on the points the character has to work with, you could give him Immunity with Nearly Complete Coverage.

He'd be immune to Fatigue entirely and take half damage from (almost) all attacks. Just define the trapping as "super fast regeneration."

If that's too many points to stack on Regen and Ageless, then maybe a Modifier like...

Background only (-3): The character only ignores background effects, but still takes full damage from attacks.

That with Nearly Complete Coverage would only cost 4 points.

Hmm, it would take figuring out what effect the character isn't immune to.

If it was truly a Dorian Grey type, it'd be cool to say the character isn't immune to effects applied to their portrait. Twisted Evil

Ha! That would be funny if you had to activate it before going into combat!
Carry around a can of spraypaint and do a quick sketch on a convenient wall...

That sounds like the basis of a very cool character concept!

Well, technically, Dorian Grey is a very nice example of a Device modifier, I'd think... though I do like the idea of having to throw up a tag for invincibility. Some creepy Saint Death cartel shaman would actually be pretty scary. Would also be nifty for a classical geomancer/seal of solomon kind of guy or a Chinese sorcerer. That would actually be an awesome Super Sorcerer Device limitation, come to think of it (you have to draw the characters/pentagram, and if someone messes with it so much for the power), or an option to reduce the Power Cost of any power by casting it as a Device.

Also, people overestimate regeneration. You just have to come up with some way to keep hurting him... like napalm. Nobody is a very effective combatant when they're doused in flames. I mean, I guess he could go hug people... Or, of course, there's always blowing his brains out from a sufficient distance (and, yes, hoping he critically fails his Vigor roll), but I suppose those are both sort of in the "penalty box" conditions.
