The Movie “Island at the top of the world” and it's airship the Hyperion got me jazzed about airships in 1974 and I made a 12 foot model out of old tarps, coat hangers and news papers and drafted plans for the Danielburg and found plans for a device to seperate hydrogen from water

Th link lead me to a kids series about an alternate earth ware airship travel is still the way to go and airplanes were not invented

How come Oscar Myer never made a blimp that looks like a giant Oscar Myer weiner, it would get a lot more exposure than the truck and not have to worry about parking but they could not hand out samples they would have to drop hot dogs en mass from the sky

That would make a great set piece for a post apoc game ware one faction is based in the junk yard outside Vegas that deals in old advertising signs

An Airship I sketched 25 years ago (only 5 or so years after seeing island at the top of the world) for my game/story world, in the gasbag are hobbit crew members high on the helium. I added the black moon icon 20 years ago based on a shape of the cap on the top of a container of baby wipes and the red safty seal sticker
