So from what I can tell Deadlands is a Rp version of the old mini war game The Great Rail Wars. So what ever happened to the Great Rail Wars minis? What company produced them and are they still doing so?
Can't remember who produced them, but they've been out of "print" so to speak for several years now. _________________ Yo momma's so ugly, people gotta make a Fear check at -4 whenever she walks into the room.

Savage Worlds is indeed descended from the Great Rail Wars (which was published by Pinnacle as well). Pinnacle now publishes the free Showdown rules as a successor of sorts to the mechanical tabletop elements. They might still sell PDFs of the GRW material itself, though I've not checked.

Jeff Valent Studios made the figures and was selling out his stock however it's going through a major revamping and he says that another company is taking over production of the Deadlands minis.
