If someone was to make a NPC set for a traveling show how would they handle the powers of the fire eater if he used fire in combat? Could this be created with the super powers AB but it represents training and a skill and there has to be a device involved
For the rest of the show post em if you got em then we can insert them as a group in any game either in wagons or motor homes
And go watch the "Barbarian Brothers" and the first 10 minutes of the movie with the attack on the road show's caravan. Most of the performers were able to use there skills in combat except the mongolian tranvestite. When i watched it in HS I thought it would make a unusual encoutner group and i just got some circus clix

Hrm interesting one. Technically it's a ranged weapon, but it would have a really short range, so if I were to build it with Savage Armoury I'd probably treat it as a melee weapon:
+3: Reach (+1" reach)
+2: High Penetration (2 AP)
+1: Two-Handed (+1" reach) (one hand for the torch, one for the alcohol)
+1: Elemental ability (flaming)
-3: Weak Defence: -1 Parry (like an improvised weapon)
-2: Dangerous: Uses Innocent Bystander rules in melee, damage yourself on snake eyes.
The question then is whether Strength+d6 is appropriate for damage. I guess you could just change it to 2d6 though. |

Here is a another Q. If the juggler uses and trains with the the clubs every day are they still an improvised weapon or a regular attack with a throwing club
If i were a GM I'd rule that if someone uses a tool or item every day it might not be an improvised weapon. Are you gonna give John Henry a -2 because he used a sledge hammer and not a war hammer _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |

I read Homestuck, which includes a character who fights with juggling clubs, so I'm all for including a possibility of using juggling clubs as weapons _________________ एक दूसरे के लिए उत्कृष्ट

A fire eater would just use the Burst power with a fire trapping, would he not? Elemental Manipulation: Fire would make sense as well.
If you go the magic route, you could have a clown with the Confusion power. A ranged attack might be a pie to the face, closer attacks might be a flower on the clown's lapel that shoots water, or the clown chucks a bucket at the target, only confetti comes out instead of water.

I did make some circus theam supers based on the Supers Companion, but they were over the top and powered by alien devices from the galactic circus. The clown Betty Boppers had a big red punching glove on a spring and big red shoes that added to leaping

This idea is more based in reality of a troop who wanders the old west, the HOE or in a ship _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |
