In amid all of the stuff we're working on, which is a huge list, I have a secret project I'm working on. I've offered the Opening Salvo below, the fluff text to get your juices flowing. The adventure will be available in both Savage and Æther, it will be a freebie, and we hope to have it out and going by the end of May.

Have a little taste....

The in-flight movie, some chick-flick with that should-have-retired actor with that soon-to-be-washed up actress, started playing. You weren’t even an hour into your 14-hour marathon of a too-small seat surrounded by crying kids, coughing adults that shouldn’t be flying, and stewardesses that looks like they ran out of give-a-damn about three flights ago. Shanghi to Los Angeles is a brutal flight in the best of times, and the captain said they’d be flying through, over, and around storms the whole way to California.

It was a hell of a way to spend a birthday.

It could be worse though, you could be her; that grandma a seat up and across the aisle. She’s been coughing since rolling out onto the tarmac, and a quick glance shows you that her napkin she’s coughing into is getting little spatters of red on it. Great. What’s that thing that people carry on planes now? Drug resistant TB? Ebola? Plague? You can’t help but shake your head, but then you notice another violent coughing fit wracking her. Stewardesses are looking concerned as they gather around her, but you notice what might just be excitement in their eyes, and you can’t blame them. Something exciting happening and it’s barely 60 minutes in on an 840 minute march.

The cute redhead in her red and black Golden Sun Airlines vest backs up quickly after bending down to comfort the coughing blue-hair. She backs up quickly and the old woman coughs up an enormous amount of blood, and all of it bright red. There’s another cough and this time the stuff that comes up is tar black and thick. Either she’s a life-time smoker or something very bad is going on here.

Everyone is stunned. The old bird slumps, dead, in her chair. The guy across the aisle pukes. No one else breathes; even the little kids and babies have turned stone quiet. One of the stewardesses leaves to go get something, a blanket maybe. She’s not gone 20 seconds before the old woman sits up-right like a shot, lets out a raspy roar, and leans over and tears into the passenger next to her. The silence is shattered with the gasp of the flight attendants and little Timmy’s gurgling screams as granny does unspeakable things while blood and tissue fly.

Panic. Screaming. Everyone trying to get away. Someone punches granny in the head and tries to pull her off the little kid; the hero is next to go down as teeth find flesh. The little guy that was granny’s first victim is up like a shot, jumping up and over the top of the seat to dive into the next row of seats. The guy that granny was chewing on collapsed after painting the seats around him crimson from fresh wounds, she moved on, he got up.

You got the hell out of your seat and ran to the back of the plane. This will be the last time you ever fly coach...

I know what it is... I know what it is...

Oh, yeah... right. I don't think I'm supposed to tease people. I forgot.
*looks at the REALLY long list of rules Kevin gave me*
Be nice, no hitting people, no randomly talking about nail polish, no.... yeah, he has too many rules.
Very Happy
I CAN tell you that the secret project is going to be very cool and you should keep your eyes out for it.
Maybe I'll sneak hints over here when they aren't looking... shhhh it'll be a secret.

As cool as Sammy is, I don't think I'll throw an analog of him on the plane. Now...if someone wants to play their character that way, that's something else entirely....
