The Moscow Connection-version of the Gritty Rules states that no Soaking Rolls are allowed. What about the Ace edge? Is it fair to say that someone with that Edge can make soaking rolls for his vehicle?

Up to the GM, but the Gritty Damage rules are specifically for characters not vehicles.
