I love the newest map provided in the download section, but I would like to make it larger and I am lacking the know-how to do such, if at all possible. I once saw it available as a poster, but it didn't have that new shnazzy border. I'd really like to get it and laminate it so I can actually feel like my character poring over the map, plotting my next destination.

Any suggestions?

A couple of options. If you get the map in a high enough resolution, then take it to a UPS/Fedex store. They can print banners in Vinyl.

Another option is to check out an online banner printing service. The vinyl maps will hold up for a long time, and can be printed out in a number of different sizes.

Be warned though, it can get expensive.

No votes on quality, but this site just quoted me ~ $35 for a 4x8 Vinyl print (using the Slipstream map).

Here's the poster map, on the artist's site. Not sure if this is the one you said you saw or not.

Hope that helps.

ETA: Yeah, that link is to the original version.

Yeah, the problem is the resolution. I don't know how to modify it, if that's even possible.

That is the original poster map I saw, but my picky, entitled nature would like to have the border on the one in the downloads section.

Two questions about the map:

1) What scale does it represent? Maybe I am missing something from the books but I don't know how big an area this represents or how big the islands are (and as I am running the campaign in a few days it would be useful to know)

2) The high resolution is very useful but I was wondering if there was a CC3 (Campaign Cartographer 3) version of the map so that I could use that to add extra GM details and extra islands?

Each square is 15 miles.

I don't know about Campaign Cartographer.

Here's my suggestion.

Take the image and toss it into Powerpoint (or other program). Tell the computer to blow it up to the size you want. Then crop the image down to one sheet (i.e. one slide in power point) and print just that one sheet.

Make sure your crop has any spots you are worried on resolution about.
Print.

See if that will work for your tastes.
