| A player in my game selected the Ailin' Hindrance and after failing her Vigor roll at the end of a session she ended up pushing up daisies. Well, that is until she drew a Joker and came back as one of the walking dead. Fantastic. How does the Ailin' Hindrance work for the harrowed? While she can't die from her disease again, does she still take a penalty to any checks to avoid Fatigue from physical exertion? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. |

If she does end up fatigued all the time it would be cute if she has to carry a Annie Oakly lunch box full of raw meat every ware to eat and regain vigor _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |

Pretty much. Her disease killed her, so that's her wound-that-cannot-be-healed. If she'd died by gunfire or hanging or pretty much anything else, I would probably just slap Wanted or something of equal value in it's place and let the Manitou heal the disease. _________________ "I had a whole bunch of advice for you but got ninja'd by newForumNewName. Spoiler: The Ailin' hindrance she chose might be disturbing to some viewers. Read at your own risk.
As Ailin' she choose to be carrying the baby of Reverend Grimm from Lost Angels. It might go against canon, but, hell, I thought it sounded fantastic so I went along with it. She basically looked like a pregnant woman who was also starving to death. I suppose now she'll look like a starving woman with a hideous scar from a caesarian (she can cover that up with clothes quite easily). I asked her if she wanted her character to give birth to the baby or act as an undead tomb for the child. She elected the former as the latter was a bit outside of her comfort zone and I respect that as a Marshal.
Game wise, I do have to decide what to do with the baby. Reverend Grimm certainly wants it back and the character still has the Wanted: Lost Angels hindrance. |

So this is what happened?
That's kinda creepy... but I'd swap out Ailin' with some other hindrance of equal type (major or minor).
EDIT: And in case it isn't clear, massive scar on the stomach/chest area instead of keeping the Ailin'. _________________ "I had a whole bunch of advice for you but got ninja'd by newForumNewName. I'd just do what he says." -- 77IM
