Hello, I just created a random hindrance generator, which can be used for inspiration. In addition to base hindrances, the generator gives subtype suggestions to many hindrances like quirks, habits or ugly. While there's not very many of subtypes yet, I'm planning to write a large amount of those.

That's pretty neat, I like it. I like how you present them as a set, it immediately gives you a sense of that aspect of a character. Delusional, elderly pacifist tells you alot. And I love one of the ones I drew - Cautious, Habit (prostitutes) and One Leg. I've got to save that one.

I don't think there would be an idea for such a generator if the hindrances wouldn't be presented in sets; The combinations really come alive! You wouldn't often think of characters like the ones you mentioned, but when presented to you they really become options.

I love the specifications, especially ugly due to tats and piercings.
I did get one that puzzled me

Not sure what the "investigate and" part means.

I think that hints towards the "You don't know who framed you" concept.
Hence, you need to Investigate the crime, and then avenge whoever falsely accused you. |
