One of the new edges:
Greaser
Requirements: Novice, Agility d8+, Driving d8+, Repair d8+
The character is part of a car club or has an intimate knowledge of
automobiles. The greaser gains a +2 on Driving and a +2 on Repair rolls
whenever he or she is driving or repairing an automobile, and due to their
connections in the car scene, they reduce V-Mod costs by 5% (20% becomes 15%) |

Going to start posting up some of the different factions/gangs/clubs/crews in the world...
The Hellcats
Numbers: 30-35
The Hellcats are an all female crew of bikers. They have little regard for men. While they may occasionally use them for sex, they have no respect for the male gender. They subscribe to a radical brand of feminism, and their loyalty is with their “sisters”. They have been forbidden to fall in love, and any Hellcat that does is “tested” by their crew, or risk expulsion.
Their club is led by a beautiful, raven haired woman named Belle, who has recently declared war on the much larger 1% motorcycle gang, The Disciples. At first, it was due to their mistreatment of women, however, as of late, it has become clearer that The Disciples are involved in something darker than just drugs and extortion rackets.

Great ideas and good work! Please do keep this up. I'd love to see a .pdf. I could definitely see my group enjoying it! _________________ "They were a mile away."

The Ronins
Numbers: 20-25
The smallest of the motorcycle clubs, these Japanese bikers were considered a joke when they arrived on the scene, with their oversized pompadours, and crazy dancing to rockabilly music. However, after a bar fight where they demonstrated their martial arts skills and faced off and defeated about 50 Disciples, they gained respect from the other crews in the city. They tend to be very close knit, and only allow Japanese or Japanese American bikers into their club. They generally don’t have a problem with any of the other crews, but aren’t allied with any of them either. However, The Disciples are still upset with The Ronins over what they consider a huge embarrassment.

All this reminds me of a miniature game out there called "Atomic Cafe 1957".
While I am NOT pushing the game it's self. The forum for the game, over at the Lead Adventure Forum, may provide inspiration.
They got some cool stuff. _________________

So play has started on this setting. I'm about 3 games in, though it's only been one adventure (we've had some limited play time).
I started off the game in Tennessee, where the krew has had to investigate several disappearances in Memphis (The home of Sun Studios, the birthplace of Rock and Roll, and Graceland), which they discovered were tied to a voodoo cult. ( http://www.hauntedamericatours.com/voodoo/voodoovillage/ )
And of course, no voodoo story is complete without the walking dead...
Just some extras I've been using for the game:
These hot rods (Model A Ford, 1959 Chevy Impala) are 1:50 scale Hot Wheels I've picked up at a flea market and on EBay. Going to be picking up a few more vehicles, including a 1940's Mercury, and a 1955 Ford Truck at the same scale. I found that the 1:43 scale cars are actually too big, and the 1:50 are just perfect.
Some "Kustom" Bennies. I got a set of 25 poker chips for free with a couple of packs of smokes from way back when I was still smoking (almost 2 years smoke free now!) I bought some 1.5" circular labels from the office supply store, photoshopped some images, and stuck them on the chips.
For mini's, I've been using a few minis from the Chronoscope Line from Reaper, and ordered some from Hasslefree. I still gotta pick up some Atomic Cafe 1957 Minis, and have also been using my own cardstock trifolds. |

I'm still working on getting it all neatly organized in a pdf. Right now, it's a bunch of Word files, stuff that I am allowing and not allowing from the books (SWD and the Horror Companion) and stuff that I've borrowed from other people (HawaiianBrian's V-Mods, Clint's Modern Martial Arts)
As far as the Benny Cover pics, they're all stuff that I picked up from Deviant Art for personal use, but if you want them: http://imgur.com/a/oanHC |
