Hello! My group and I were recently playing a converted Pathfinder module (Hollow's Last Hope) and the PC's were ambushed by a group of goblin archers. Since the goblins managed to get the drop on the heroes, they did some crazy damage on the first combat round and the group's fighter was incapacitated. (He rolled snake eyes on his soak roll, which in our house rules, prevents any further bennies to be spent trying to re-roll).
The healer then cast Heal and got a raise, but we weren't sure how this would effect the incapped fighter. Would it just have removed the incapped status, or would he also have recovered from one wound?

Barring Setting Rules, it works as noted on pg. 78 (SWD) under Incapacitated Patients. The caster has to make a Helaing roll to remove then Incapacitated status and afterwards, "He may then attempt further Healing rolls to remove actual wounds."
So it takes additional Healing rolls to remove wounds after Incapacitated has been removed; it's not part of the roll to remove Incapacitated itself. _________________ Clint Black
