Here it comes again! The Geneseo Area Gaming Group (GAGG) is proud to present Running GAGG 16: Apocalypticon. Myself and (likely) Mike "Other Mike" Sprague will be on hand, along with any other Savage GMs we can wrangle, to deliver all of your Savage goodness.
I've done this show about three years now, and I've been consistently surprised with the quality of the games and gamers available. There's always a bunch of Savage games running, so come on out! You'll have a great time! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!"

Man, you need to get some reading glasses. It says 2012, right up there ... (y'know, after I edited out my typo ... ) _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

One of the guys in our gaming group (in Rochester) has decided to attend this year, and is looking to share a hotel room with someone rather than drive down every day (the room I booked is already full). _________________ My delusions of grandeur are way bigger than yours! |

And the Savage Saturday Night event is live! If you are coming out, make sure to sign up on the page. If you're interested in running a game, sign up to co-GM, and I'll have you approved ASAP.
Happy gaming! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

Yep, and I approved you, so now it's up to the con staff to do their bit.
Many thanks! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

Based on the Savage Saturday comments here http://www.peginc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34539, any thoughts on how we are going to handle it for RunninGAGG? I'm signed up as one of the GM's and Drew already entered his game in parallel ... but do we want to get any game info into the Con book, or mention that there may be some prizes or freebies?
As usual, I'll be giving away a wild die to anyone who plays in my adventures, and I think Drew may be doing the same. _________________ My delusions of grandeur are way bigger than yours! |

Now with the holidays over, I have a little more time to dedicate to this. I'm going to reach out to the con staff and see if we can get more commitment on their side, at least to clarify the show. I'll also be sending an e-mail out to SWES (Hi, Steve!) for prize support.
I know that Savage Mojo was interested in UBCon. They may be willing to provide support as well?
Drew's game is actually slotted incorrectly, it's supposed to be on Friday night. He's trying to get it switched.
Of course, we also need GMs! I'd like to count on at least 5, so with you, me, and Drew, all we need is two more, and I think that will be plenty. So give us a shout, you lurkers! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

What does Savage Saturday look like? Anyone signing up? My other two events are nearly full as well.
Spoiler: I plan on running a Monster Hunter International adventure for Savage Saturday. _________________ My delusions of grandeur are way bigger than yours! |

Just a quick reminder: only one more week until Running GAGG! Check out the Event Schedule over here. Looks like there's still some slots open, including Savage Saturday Night. We'll see you there! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

I'm already signed up for SSN as a player, since I'm a tad curious about RunePunk, but if you folks really need another GM then, I'll see what I can do.
I've been a bit distracted by a fair number of things these last couple months¹, so my preparation isn't necessarily what it should be (hooray reruns!) and I'm not 100% sure when I should schedule my games since I have some outside events² conflicting on Friday afternoon and sometime mid-day/afternoon on Saturday that I need to pin down. (the 6pm-ish and 9pm-ish slots should be fairly safe, but I do also want to get in on Jeff Hannes' always-excellent DRP tournament at some point during the weekend).
I am hoping, however, to at least get in another run of WNM: The Black Kitten (since, although I've scheduled it at Running GAGG before, I've never actually run it there) and possibly a Temporal Probability Agency game.
¹ I won't clutter up the forum with them, but feel free to ask in person
² related to some of the aforementioned things |

Thanks, man! At this stage, I think we'll be covered GM-wise, but it never hurts to bring something just to be on the safe side. Our goal is to make sure that everyone who shows up gets to play something, so you may get tapped to run. Think like a Boy Scout ... and be prepared! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

| I finally got around to submitting Black Kitten for Saturday afternoon (albeit with a spelling error). I'll try to get TPA stuff printed out and ready too, just in case the numbers at SSN require it. |

Quickie post con update ...
We've been doing Running GAGG for several years now, and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and helpful, registration and information is a breeze, and they are always looking out for us. This year, most Savage games were all scheduled in the sumptuous Fireside Lounge, where we had tons of room and as many tables and chairs as we could use ... including rocking chairs for us old fogies...
I believe all but one Savage game filled in pre-reg, and the first annual Savage Saturday Night at GAGG was a great success. We had over 20 participants in four games, including homebrews and both Runepunk and Deadlands: Reloaded. Everybody had a great time, and I heard the same question from many people, "So ... what other conventions are you going to be at?"
Special thanks go out to my GM partners in crime, Mike "Other Mike" Sprague, Andrew "StrayGeologist" Smith, and Glenn "DustDevil" Seiler, and to all the repeat Savages we see time and time again, including (but not limited to) Brandon Wiacek, Heather and Richard Ferris, Dave Schneider, Nick Tryon, George Sprague, and Dave Campbell.
Also thanks to Dragon Snack Games for making sure to bring Savage books to the show. It's great to see a local store recognize a market and work to help keep it alive.
We'll see you next year! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

And that one (mine) was a late submission.
Had I known how early I'd be done with non-con stuff Friday afternoon (and how close I'd be cutting it Saturday mid-day), I might've scheduled for the Friday 2-6 (when all RPG events were full) instead of Saturday 2-6. |

Finally found my way here.
Was an awesome time as described; well run and worth the trip. The Savage Saturday night was a blast; between that and the Sunday 50 Fathoms game I've decided to start doing some sessions with the system for my normal Pathfinder group.

Wa-hoo! We can always use more GM's ... especially for a little local con coming up in a couple months ... nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
Oh! I forgot to thank somebody! Thanks to the always awesome Savage Worlds Explorer's Society! Many of the players at Savage Saturday Night got to go home with some really sweet swag. Thanks guys! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |
