If a player rolls a d6 to run, can that die ace? Also I want to confirm that running does not get a wild die?
As noted on page 62 of SWD, Trait (Attributes and skills) and damage rolls ace, and Running is neither of those. And the Wild Die only applies to Trait rolls, so that is out as well.
In short, just drop the die and add that many inches to movement.

I want to make sure that I do understand combat in Savage Worlds.
Successfully shoot somebody (no raises on that roll) at the beginning of combat.
Roll 2d6 damage, get 3 and a 6, reroll the 6 and get a 4 for a total of 13.
Target's toughness is 5. Final result is an 8 which is a raise.
So the target is shaken and takes a wound level?
Actually, every 4 points over the TN is a raise, so an 8 over Toughness is 2 raises.
Barring any Soak attempts, if a Wild Card, the target would take 2 wounds and be Shaken, and if an Extra, the target would be Incapacitated (it would really only take 1 wound for that to occur).
Hope that helps. _________________ Clint Black
