| Hmmm, I'm thinking of running an all hybrid campaign in October if not earlier where I'd adding element from Realms of Cthulhu for added spice. I may populate NYC with cultists and monsters as some folks might go there to survey the metropolis to be reclaimed for Atlantica. So you could be a bounty hunter and still be a ronin? I may have to look into that. Not to mention looking to see what is available on the Nation of Atlantica and combine that with what I know from living in Philadelphia for almost 40 years. |

The term Ronin is just a generalization. Bounty Hunters could easily be considered Ronin. But so could a corporate programmer who hacks a rival corp's domain on every now and again and sells pay data to the highest bidder, or the taxi driver who moonlights as a wheelman for a shadow-team. _________________ David Jarvis

Better yet, Ronin is IZ-speak for Shadowrunner. _________________ David Jarvis

Ronin=Shadowrunner I like that, I'll have to look over the glossary again to see if that definition is in there.
Just for your edification I just put in this order for FRPGames:
[CB76703] Savage Worlds RPG - Interface Zero: Boston - The Broken Cradle of Liberty ($11.9
[CB76702] Savage Worlds RPG - Interface Zero: Zeeks Psionics in 2088 ($11.9
[CB730014] Savage Worlds RPG - Daring Tales of the Sprawl Compendium 1 (Cyberpunk Adventures) ($11.9 |

| I liked the hard cover of Interface Zero, this should be interesting. In October I got to CT for a convention. And I hope to run this when I get there. |

Awesome to see your enthusiam Kodyax!
I'll pitch in here to give an update on the stuff I'm working on for Dave J, my boss and owner of GMG.
At the moment we have the great writing team of Sarah and Curtis Lyon working on a Las Vegas book for IZ.
I'm writing up another Adventure for IZ, while also taking the oppertunity to incorporate the new rules from the Deluxe Edition of Savage Worlds to re-write and streamline the Hacking Rules. When the Hacking rules are done it should make Hacking even easier, faster, and yet give more options for players and game masters alike.
I'm also working on finishing up work on the St. Louis setting, while over seeing another freelancers work on the Malmart Catalog.
I also recently finished a bonus I-Zine chock full of even more Zeek powers, edged and hindrances.
As for what I'd really like to get done working on when all of this stuff is off of my plate (which should hopefully be done within a month or two)
I'd really like to make a Guide to Space, covering the most well known Stations, the Companies which play up there, personal space vessels and edges and hindrances for spacers, enough stuff for those who want to do a Total Recall, Cowboy Bebop, or Firefly style campaign.
I also have some preliminary outline work on a guide I want to call "The Genetic Revolution" covering Hybrids, Similucrums, and Human 2.0's. as well as some of the other lesser known but still interesting aspects to a world where Genetic Engineering has advanced to such a degree. ((Like for example, want to have a child but don't have a partner? Monobirthing is the awnser, just let our scientists take your DNA twist it all about, re-arrange it and give you a child with a gender of your choice... Or for Homosexual Parents, engineering a child from your own genes is as easy as visiting the doctor!))
The rest of the year for IZ should be pretty cool! _________________ David Viars

| I definitely need to keep an eye on further developments. The main idea I have for an IZ character has the core concept of: Savage Psychic Street Samurai. And I built him as a hybrid, what might be considered a true chimera as he is a mixture of human, wolf and bear DNA but that's just me. |

I just bought it last night as a tool to finally convert 2 settings for another system I've been running and evolving over the past 7 years. Yah right, that lasted long - my gaming group and I will be starting an IZ campaign next week. Needless to say I'm quite blown away by it.
About the only question I have is whether either of the 2 supplements have additional details on the Golemmechs as that'd help me with converting 1 of my settings. Specifically, is there any sort of size scale for them? |

| I just got Zeeks and Boston and I've only really skimmed through them but I didn't see anything on golemechs in either. But if the dude who runs Gun Metal Games is reading, an entire book just on golemechs couldn't hurt. Especially if you want to run an anime style IZ game, more detail on those things would be nice. Just a suggestion... |

| The only other things I really need to add at this point is: Vegas? You're doing a Las Vegas book for IZ? THANK YOU!! I've never been there but anything that you do for Vegas I can steal for use in Atlantic City. |

Thanks for the reply Koyax. I'll probably still get Zeeks for the Psionics.

My sentiments exactly. One of my settings is based exclusively on a anime style world populated with a healthy variety of mechs, so any additional Golummech content would be awesome. IZ is the 1st SW setting I've bought that has robotic mechs at all, so I do appreciate what's there. |

| Among the essential cyberpunk anime out there is Bubblegum Crisis and its sequel Bubblegum Crash which both feature power armor type mechs and of course there is always Appleseed to think on. And that's just my short list of films I'm sat through and watched most of it. You also have Ghost in the Shell, Akira (which gets a nod in Zeeks) and the French animation film that cme out not to long ago, Renaissance. Yeah, in addition to being a furry gamer I'm also something of an otaku. |

Armor Question, I read Zeeks pretty much cover to cover and I have a question for a Chimera Zeek I'm building: I already bought him the Urban Punk Street Soldier Trench Coat (it just fits with the image I have of him in my head) Would it stack with the Wasteland Road Warrior armor in the book? Yeah I know it might be a silly question but I'm still too newly weaned from D&D.
Another question is who did picture on page 16 of Zeeks? The eyewear is almost exactly the one piece of Cyberware I want to redo in IZ from CP2020 Chromebook 1 in the Kiroshi Optishields. In IZ I redo that mechanically as Flash Compenstors, that's how they look as mirror shades that are permanently affixed to your face. |

With the exception of the last one you listed, I've seen all of those more than once. I can't say I'm too much of a fan of Bubblegum Crisis, or the remake BGC Tokyo 2040. However, the middle 3 episodes in the original BGC directed by Obari were outstanding. I'd say Mamoru Oshii is my favorite anime writer/director, so I've seen every GitS series and film there is. One you didn't mention that I think has some cyberpunk feel to it is Oshii's original Patlabor series and especially his 2 Patlabor films.
Anyhow... enough derailment. With the FFF nature of SW, it seems like a perfect fit for Mecha settings. I'm glad to see at least 1 company bringing something to the table. |

| Patlabor does have a general cyberpunk from what I remember seeing. |

Physical armors never stack (except for subdermal armor, which explicitly stacks). Take the best protection of any worn armors.
In the example, you'd use the Trench Coat versus bullets (5) and the Wastelander armor (4) versus everything else. _________________ "Got a problem? I've got the solution: Rocket Launcher."

| Nice, I may keep that in mind for the future. I know what he can afford to get at his rookie level so that might be worth considering for later levels. Plus the mental image of him in that is just great. |

| Does anyone know of a location where I can download PDF's of the Character sheet and the favor counters? I checked GMG's website, but too my surprise they don't seem to be available there. I bought the hardcover book, but unfortunately my scanner is doing a craptastic job as of late, so copying and printing the pages in the book isn't really going to fly. I really don't want to buy the PDF version just for the character sheets, so if anyone can point me to a download location I'd really appreciate it. |

I wouldn't mind something similar, I did suggest they make such things available either here or on their forums or both. |
