PostPosted: Mon May 23, 2011 9:33 pm    Post subject: Big List of Upcoming Pinnacle Products Reply with quote

I'm sure we're all very excited about all the upcoming Pinnacle products that are on the horizon. However, it's a bit hard to keep track of everything that is coming up. So I've decided to compile a giant list of upcoming Savage Worlds Products from Pinnacle.

Now I've done my best to find the most up to date information, but I know that I'm missing some things. Please feel free to reply to this thread and I'll update this first post with the most up to date information. I considered including upcoming items from licensees too, but doing just the Pinnacle Products was daunting enough and I think it would be too much to try and maintain a list for all those products as well.

In some cases, I have used Pinnacle's or a Pinnacle Staffer's exact words for the descriptions of the products if they have provided a concrete description, otherwise I have just crafted my own based on the available information. Of course, none of this information is guaranteed to be accurate and, because delays happen and Joel gives obfuscated replies, please don't hold me or Pinnacle to the accuracy of any of these statements.

And now without further ado:

Pinnacle Entertainment's Upcoming Products:

Now I know why Joel tends to be under some circumstances perhaps a tiny bit cautious about possibly making a definite statement of some kind at a point in the future yet to be determined.

Exactly! And a crowd that's thrilled to pop off with "but the rule in the second sentence of paragraph three in column two of the third printing on page so-and-so in the French edition clearly states" is more than happy to remind you of these things. The man's keepin' me down.

Don't forget, about four of those things are really pretty much off your plate right now and have moved on down the service line.

Ten products is actually quite a few... when you want them all to be perfect! Smile

Where values for "pretty much off your plate" equal "at least one more detailed proof," I am not reassured. Smile

Anyway... no offense intended, folks. This just caught me on an already mega-stressed day. I will attempt to repurpose these feelings into mega-motivation. Arrow

Well, surely when they say "Maybe due out in the next year if we're really lucky and nothing catches fire," they really mean "Next week, for certain."

The original plan was to post a list of EVERYTHING Savage coming, including third party stuff from 12 to Midnight, Triple Ace Games, Daring Entertainment, Reality Blurs, etc. After doing just the Pinnacle stuff, I decided to call it quits because I realized just how overwhelming that task would be!

Timon, I figured I'd keep the known release information on because we get a lot of topics asking when so and so is going to be released. I figured if somebody could read this, rather than posting yet another topic, it would mean the Pinnacle staffers get more time to work on the stuff instead of having to craft cryptic responses.

And I have to say, I love the Pinnacle staffers and their sense of humor! Very Happy Sorry to stress you out, but I think it just goes to show how excited we are about the work you're doing! (And yes, the internet never forgets. But hey, cryptic responses are much more fun!)

I used to project manage creatives to produce marketing documentation. I know in my bones that there is no such thing as a last draft. Wink

Understandable sentiment. However IIRC ETU is now being handled by Pinnacle.
