I'm going to make you cut out a dozen casawemies, though...
That said, it would be kind of cool... _________________ Curtis and Sarah Lyon

That's not a threat, that's an invitation. I actually enjoy making them. If they are done in the classic style, they are just rectangles. You can create a whole campaign worth of figures in a couple of hours.
I'll bring pizza.
Oh, wait. I'm playing in Caladon Falls and don't want to have it spoiled... Nevermind.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Whatever the dice have to say, Sir Owen will do his best. _________________ Published works:

I have to work on the blog around other projects, but Sarah will post it as soon as I'm done. I think everyone had fun, although we had a very full table, and almost everyone (character-wise) walked away with Wounds. _________________ Curtis and Sarah Lyon

Yeah, right at the beginning of the first combat Rhiannon took a hit that caused 6 wounds. I was lucky to be able to soak three of them (Yay for 6's on the Wild Die!), so I didn't have to sit the rest of the game out, but I know that Tyrnan got KO'd later on. Luckily, Suzerain has Karma, so everyone will be back in the game for the next adventure. |

It was the most brutal game of Savage Worlds I have played to date.
I loved it.
I won't spoil Curtis's blog post, but the adventure involved holding off an army of wild men while Lord Balrin evacuated the rest of the town. Curtis's dice were smokin' hot! Even my shiny new armor didn't protect me from those fiery dice.
Fortunately, Lady Rhiannon could.
Our team fought a very tactical battle, maintaining great fire discipline ("Don't fire 'il you see the green of their eyes!") and formation, with our melee fighters protecting our archers.
Ok, I'll shut up now. No spoilers. Right. _________________ Published works:

I'm about halfway through writing it up - I've just got to get another writing project finished tomorrow, and then I'll kick it up a notch. Look for the update in the next couple of days or so. _________________ Curtis and Sarah Lyon

Bravo.
I am really liking the GM notes. I read Caladon Falls straight through when I bought it. The storyline is really good and the action is compelling.
But when you add in the actual play that makes it so much more understandable and enjoyable.
Thanks. _________________ http://www.armsonline.org/

Glad to hear it's working for you. When I was first asked to blog the campaign, I wasn't sure what to do with it, but I felt both the story and my personal observations (as both GM and writer) might help other GMs tell a better story.
Thanks for your interest.
Next time we'll start dealing with the trek by the refugees from the destruction of Milltown to the fortress at Dunhoun. _________________ Curtis and Sarah Lyon

The Caladon Falls game is awesome! I'm playing Isolde in the campaign and I'm loving it so far- even when I know something is about to happen. There's nothing better than to still be excited and curious when you know what is going on. |

The folks following this thread probably already know, but just in case, we're (Savage Mojo) moving toward getting Caladon Falls in print. We have a fundraiser at IndieGoGo. We have sponsorship tiers at rates from a single dollar (less than the typical candy bar) to $59 where you get the book, a character sheet based on an interview with you, the PDF, and a slew of other things to $549 for something completely over the top. There are several tiers from which to choose.
Once we meet our goal, Caladon Falls will be released in a limited edition, full-color, hard cover, 750-book print run. Please visit the campaign, view the trailer, and help any way you can. If you can send some funds our way, that's fantastic. If you can spread the word, we'd be very grateful. Every sponsor counts and every dollar helps.
Thanks!

What're the chances of a Noir Knights actual play report? |

Since Sarah runs that game at the moment, it would largely be her call. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to us at the time to blog that campaign - which started a considerable time before Caladon Falls - and we're actually headed toward the final showdown in Noir Knights. But I'm sure there's some way to pass on a bit of play information without 'spoiling' things right off the bat...
Provided we can make it to PacifiCon, the plan is for Sarah to be running a Noir Knights demo, so maybe we can whip up a play report for that session. _________________ Curtis and Sarah Lyon

Lol, yeah, I'm down to about 3 plot points left for the Noir Knights game. On the other hand, I will be starting up a Shanghai Vampocalypse game when we complete Noir Knights and my player's characters hit Demigod Rank (moving our little heroes to the next level )
I can do a few summaries of the last few adventures, for Noir Knights, but that might not be as fun. And I'll definitally chronicle the adventures of our Shanghai Demigods. |

| Okay so is Noir Knights for beginning characters or should the characters have advanced to a certain experience level? |
