So when / what time / what time zone were you thinking of running this?
And how would you get in on it? |

I'm in the Central Time Zone (GMT-6) and normally start after 8 p.m. my time on some weekday night. If enough Eurozoners express an interest I might be able to put something together around noon my time.
Maptool is free. You can launch it from here. If you want to play around with maptool, you can download some of my free modules from here. If you want to ready why I use Maptool, check out how it returned me to the RPG hobby here.
<edit>
Looks like Victorian Supers has taken an early lead. I have a link to the review of The Kerberos Club in my sig. Here's a link to it on DriveThruRPG. There's a link to a free, quick start version as well. It uses the One Roll system but should give you a feel for the setting. _________________ MapTool/Savage Worlds Blog

Lurking is fine but I'll probably throw and PreGen at you. You can refuse but it will be there if you want it. Once the voting ends I'll create the adventure. I'll have enough pregens to cover whomever shows but its ok if you want to create your own character. Once voting ends I'll ask what nights and times will work for the folks interested in the selected setting.
Kerberos club has the lead still. Since Space 1889 is out now I would consider running that setting as well.
For those interested, I have a new review up for an older product: Thrilling Tales. Check my sig for the link. _________________ MapTool/Savage Worlds Blog

| I'd love to learn more about this, please. I've been looking for a way and time to start learning and using this program for ages. |

| I am quite interested in this. What day of the week will you be running this and how soon do you think you will start? If you run Kerberos Club, will you be using all pregens? |

Alright, firstly, no one gets left behind.
If you can't make game day I'll give you a demo. We'll decide on the date once the poll closes (Saturday I think). I'm open Sunday-Thursday most weeks. We're still a number of weeks off since I have to prepare the adventure, pregens, and map. There'll have plenty of lead time. _________________ MapTool/Savage Worlds Blog

I've had a lot of interesting in Red Sands so unless there is a revolt, we'll play Space 1889. I'll need at least week to put together the pregens, map, and gear for my framework.
Now we come down to game time and date. My schedule works best if we start at 8:00 p.m. Central Time Zone Sunday-Thursday. For the Euro Zoners I'm off at noon on Fridays and can start a game around 1 p.m. (8:00 pm German time I think). That means I would run 2 games; one for the European Savages and another for the stateside Savages.
So, now down to day. You Europeans are stuck with Friday unless you want to stay up really late for a game.
I can't game September 5th-6th (labor day), or September 14th or any Friday or Saturday. Other than that I should be open.
Please post good night/bad nights so we can figure out which night works out best for the most. Also let me know if you want to create your own character or use a pregen. Pregens can include one of the following archetypes.
Adventurer(ess)
Agent/Spy
Anarchist
Archaeologist
Big Game Hunter
Clergy
Colonial Officer
Criminal
Detective
Doctor
Entertainer
Inventor
Jungle Lord/Lady
Merchant
Mechanic
Officer
Reporter
Sailor
Scholar
Scientist
Soldier
Vigilante
Wanderer

| RPTroll I would be very interested in a Sunday night game but I am not familiar with map tool and was wondering if it is pretty easy to work with. |

You can try and launch maptool from here
http://download.rptools.net/webstart.php/maptool-development.jnlp?vmargs=-Xmx512m%20-Xms64m%20-Xss4m
It requires you have Java 5 or better installed.
That link is always in the sidebar of my blog under Important Links
Under the Pages section of the side bar you'll find documentation for my Savage Worlds framework for Maptool along with a link to some free SW modules. I realized recently that I haven't devoted enough blog space to Maptool and so next week I'm doing an article on quick and dirty mapping using some of my favorite tools.
Just in case you're wondering why I do this:
Thanks to Savage Worlds and Maptool I was able to revive my gaming hobby. I do these one-shots to show others how a blend of the right tools and the right gaming system make it easy to game again without the hours/days required for other systems. My Advice to Time Crunched Gamers series details more of my tips and tricks. Indeed, its the reason for the existence of the blog. _________________ MapTool/Savage Worlds Blog

The date has been set for Sunday, September 19th starting around 8 p.m. Central.
For those that can't make that night, another night will be made available as well. For those that can't make that I'll set up a demo.
Send a PM or reply here if you wish to participate.
Cheers,
Troll. _________________ MapTool/Savage Worlds Blog

Yes, it's pretty easy. I have a framework developed for it for Savage Worlds and there are a number of setting tokens available created by myself and other contributors. _________________ MapTool/Savage Worlds Blog

It was a good game last night. I'll post the writeup soon.
Anyone who wanted to attend but could not please post back here or send me a pm or email and I'll set up another session. I can either do one person at a time or attempt to run a shortened version of last night's scenario.
Cheers,
