Hi all,

Is most of the stuff presented in the Deluge novel now canon? Specifically...

Yes and no.

The characters' claims are somewhat accurate, but they must have been going on some advance information. The things they describe haven't actually happened yet. (Keep an eye on those Plot Points!)

As for Hellstromme's business dealings, few can honestly claim to know the intricacies in detail. It's likely that, as far as those particular statements go, some gremlins got into the telegraph lines and garbled the signal. Wink

In general, we consider a piece of Deadlands fiction as one story of one group's experience, rather than canon for the game world.
