Just fold to match and use onemonk's bases (which they have free as well). A bit of cutting and gluing is all you need. Not fancy, certainly, but free in very deed.

Also, the Swashbucklers set on Patrick's site (http://www.gwindel.eu/Autre/Figs/Figurines.html) is pretty decent.
