i've been wondering a little tiny detail about the toxic shaman...
We all know that it's from little tiny details like this one that the lust for power come craving out of every good (power)players

one of my players asked me something about the spheres and favors

now if i understand correctly it's all about the 4 primary old powers, renamed (fire,water,air and earth)
yet there's a fifth one....

so the spheres goes like this with their opposing one
Sphere Opposed

Radiation Sludge
Sludge Radiation
Smog Trash
Trash Smog
Insect None

now his question goes like this
"if i chose the insect one, since i got no opposed sphere, can i use favor from them all?"

since i hate saying "cause i said so and the marshal power is absolute" and since i couldn't find anything specific saying "yes" or "no" in the book (spirit warriors), i was wondering if any of you had an idea or came across something i didn't see.

i think that being able to use all the spheres might be powerfull, still, all the "normal" sphere would cost the double...
and since an insect shaman could use the normal sphere, would any type of shaman, let's say... a Trash shaman, be able to use the insect sphere?

You are right with every thing.
A shaman can take every spell from every sphere, as long as it is not an opposed one.
This has the consequences that an insect shaman has access to all spells and that every one can take insect sphere spells.
We had once an insect shaman and there was no unbalance. So don't worry about it.
