Okay so I got this crazy idea while reading the 50 fanthoms Plot point. I really love the intro plot point : ''Maiden Voyage'' and I was thinking of using it as the start point of our Savage Star Wars campaign...

Would that work ? what are the change you would think I'll have to do (except obvious genre/setting trappings) ?

I was thinking of making the PC the crew of a freighter ship that got attack by Pirate or that was damage in an Ion storm. the crew barely made it on an escape pod and land on a moon in a unknown system....

What are you thoughts on that ?

Oddly enough I'm planning on usiing some of the 50F plot point in a Traveller-ish game where a world is suddenly starting to drown
