Hey:
1.Are the XP points (15 each) in each ready-made PC in Travelers Tales to be "invested" by the players or just a reminder; as all the points have already been spent?
A minor nitpick:
"Carmelita", as a woman's name, is a diminutive in Spanish (like "Jackie" for Jacqueline). Her name should be "Carmen"
2.Also, is Ed Montoya a relative of that legendary swordsman Íñigo Montoya? (could be, could be!)
Thanks
No

I dont have the adventure, but:
Usually the ready-made PCs are ready-made.
The 15 XP are a reminder and to allow re-checking of the numbers, or if you loke to learn from the example.
The two other questions are only answerable from someone of PegInc, but they are not game-important.
If a name sounds silly for you change it. I dont know why so much people like the german word Krieg, but its in slipstream, and I remember some old fantasy-setting with the town of Krieg and the Krieger guards. Calling a planet or town War and the inhabitants warriors sound silly, too.
If the addition of Íñigo Montoya makes sense to you, increase the fun for you, you should ad it. Even if only you, the GM snickers a little if you introduce him. |

1) That's the amount spent.
2) He could be. If you want him to be. _________________ Wiggy

Sorry, not at the top of my game right now.

They are built with that number of XPs, and the level-ups gained from them have been used. _________________ Clint Black

I was just reporting how a Spanish name should be written. In a "pulp-horror realistic" historical setting like Kane's, some names that sound wrong (like, for instance, Pope Bob, or Lady Pete, in English), may not get "caught" if you don't know the native language (in this case, Spanish). We don't want to be inaccurate (to the setting) here, dig?
Hope that helps
