Good review!
He still mispronounces Shaintar though. _________________ Mark Swafford

Yet another great Review. It's pretty much cemented Sundered Skies as my next Savage Worlds purchase.
It was actually Kurt's Shaintar review that got me back into Savage Worlds. |

There have been games where he's said 'I'd like this game better if such-n-such had been written differently or if this wasn't in it.' _________________ Mark Swafford

The Burning Empires review is probably his most negative. Even then he's still nice about it, saying it's just not for him and such.
He also admits in that episode that he just doesn't like to give overly negative reviews. |

There are more than enough games out there to only generate reviews of things that you can give a more-or-less positive review to. It doesn't really do you as a reviewer any good to generate negative reviews, it doesn't do the company any good, and there's no goodwill generated for anyone.
Honestly, as a consumer, if nobody's willing to review something after it's been out a while, you should consider that overwhelming silence to either say "I didn't want to say what I'd've had to say" or "this is so niche nobody wants to hear about it."
Then again, that's just my opinion on the matter, and I know there are a wide variety of others to choose from. |
