How does this rule from Solomon Kane work? I've heard it mentioned a few times... _________________ 50 Fathoms AP: swashbuckling, slave girls, peg-leg dwarves, it's got it all

Its pretty simple. Whenever you spend a benny on anything, roll a d6; on a 5 or a 6, for the next three rounds, you add a d6 to any trait roll you make. That Rage Die, as I call it, can also Ace, like any other Trait Die.
Its meant to represent the hero drawing on their will and convictions to succeed at things, and I think it does a pretty good job of it. There's also an edge that goes with it, Conviction, that lets you, once per session I think, activate Righteous Rage automatically. |

This isn't entirely accurate.
It should be whenever you spend a bennie in combat. |

| Is the Extra D6 added to the trait roll's result? Or is it just like an extra wild die; another die that might roll higher than your trait die? |

| It's added to the higher of the trait or wild dies. |

You know, all the rules info from Kane (including Righteous Rage) can be obtained by just purchasing the Player's Guide for it. _________________ Clint Black
