Bright, I'm with you on that, to a point; between the Pulp Toolkits, the fact that Savage Worlds handles pulp great already, and the two TRES adventures that were released, making your own pulp setting isn't anything crazy hard. Hell, I got an idea for one not long ago, just couldn't egt my group too excited about the idea.
But what I cared about more than anything else was the setting itself. From everything that was talked about here in this thread and on the Double G site, TRES was going to be a setting that would literally take all the genres of 1930s pulp, throw them into a blender, and WORK. I loved it. Maybe at the very least, something like the Pirate's Guide to Freeport or Rocketship Empire can be done; a systemless setting book, that you can adapt to whatever system you want. _________________ Epic of the Arrows - A Saga of the Untamed Lands |

Criminetly!!!!!
Well .... This is disappointing, but in the world of business... things happen.
Out of respect to all parties involved, I'd avoid too many requests for an explination.. As posted the matter is private and closed.
It is unfortunate to see is go the way of its dinosaurs. _________________ We must fear evil men and deal with them accordingly but what we must truly guard against, what we must fear most…… Is the indifference of good men.

I followed the link in the second post and found the site, but I notice that your second post has now been removed. Is it still okay to share links to the site or should it not be publicly announced? I had mentioned it on the Hero Games forum, but on seeing the link disappear here I've removed it from there until I can confirm that it is not a problem to post it. _________________ RPGMP3 - Dungeon ON! |

Hmm........
Kinda strange. The site in question does specifically say:
"WELCOME to the Savage home of the Ravaged Earth Society Online.
This is a new venture in conjunction with Pinnacle Entertainment Group."
Well, I guess there must be a good reason the link was removed from the thread. I'm just glad to see that the project is not dead. Obviously a good portion of the material is available for fans to use (for their own private use of course) right there on that site, but it sure would be nice to see it in print with some nice artwork someday soon. At least we know there is reason to keep hope alive!
I apologize to whom it may concern if posting the link was against the rules in some way. If there is still life in this project, and that life does involve PEG, I think there are a lot of us out here who would sure love to know. I've been anxiously following the saga of this project for about 4 years now......and I know I'm far from the only one!

Well, I guess it's all above boards! It's all right there on the Mainpage of the newly revamped webiste! Hehe, I had a bookmarked link straight to the forum page, so I didn't even see the new PEG Mainpage until AFTER that last post. I guess it's not a secret afterall. Glad to see it!

My guess is that it was just a matter of jumping the gun and unveiling it along with the re-tooled website. _________________ Jason Irrgang, blurring your reality since 2008.

This is from cleireac on the Hero Games website, referring to the resources page:
"The address for the Pulp Project 1557 page is old. It has since moved from seedwiki to wetpaint, http://project1557.wetpaint.com/
Anyway to get this corrected?"
Just for information. _________________ RPGMP3 - Dungeon ON! |

What happened to the TRES Tiki?
I was just there and now all I'm getting is a homepage listing and nothing!
Is it going through a revision? Has it been removed? |

Blank for me too. I'm guessing they're in the middle of restoring it. Wiki's are often the target of children with too much time on their hands... |

No, that was me. Like a dummy, I renamed the homepage and screwed it up.
You could probably access everything by using the following link while I repair the damage...

Hey, accidents happen.
Next question.
How long before we are able to log on to it and start telling our own adventures? |

The TRES wiki is back online and can be accessed via the PEG main page.

I'm having trouble getting the login thing to work properly. In the meantime, if you e-mail me with your stuff, including your name as a byline, I can put it up on the wiki.
This would be good until I figure out how to make the login work for everybody. _________________ "Good people are good because they've come to wisdom through failure."
