Hi all,
I have a few one shots coming up soon hence the search for maps etc, so here i am with another request.
Does anyone know of a floorplan/map of train carriages that i can use to run The Gattling Decision? I mean if worst comes to worst i can just draw some but i thought i'd see if there was a better one about first (free or otherwise).
Danke,
Wayne. |

History is your friend.

There are some similar drawings here.
Probably not good enough to use as battlemaps though...

If you want something full color and prettyfied you could check out Skeleton Key's train tiles, though I think it's kind of fantasy oriented.

Glad you liked them.
If you need a reason to use them, there's always
NIGHT TRAIN...

Oh man, If I only had this last year!
My first Rippers adventure took place in a train and these would of been so useful! Oh well, can not win em all.
And by night train do you mean the deadlands adventure? I was thinking of buying that.... _________________ Oh, good. For a moment there I was a bit concerned that I actually might have a clue what was going on. Carry on.

The one and the same.
Actually, Night Train could work in Rippers.

Okay, that should be enough.
Night Train is a very simple adventure.*
The posse stays overnight in a small town. That night a train stops and disgorges a horde of starving Vampires which fan out and ravage the town.
If the posse survives the initial onslaught, the town survivors ask them to chase down the train and rescue the people taken for "Road Snacks".
It is very tough and very deadly.
However it would work in any setting that uses trains and the supernatural. It would work in Rippers for example. It could be set in the Carpathian Mountains of Eastern Europe...
* I should add that the adventure is very well written. I give it 5/5 skulls. _________________ Jack the sound barrier. Bring the noise.

Thanks for all the kind words.
I should note that the drawings were scaled so that you can print them out at 1:1 on a Legal size sheet (8.5x14).
I'm looking into adding some color to them and I've added roof top views as well. I'll repost them when I get a chance. _________________ Jack the sound barrier. Bring the noise.

Hmm, for a moment there, I thought there might be some posts in this thread that failed to observe the forum rules on IP theft.
Obviously, I was wrong; after all, I know no one would ever engage in such a thing or a discussion of such activity on Pinnacle's open forum.
Sorry for my mistake, I'm sure it won't happen again.
Thanks! _________________ Clint Black
