Royal Engineers
A sign of development and military
ingenuity, the Royal Engineers have a world-wide reputation for efficiency and
skill in all the traditional engineering skills.
The Royal Engineers also have a new,
non-traditional role. After the Awaking
became apparent, the Queen asked that the Engineers become trained in the
various means of defeating abominations and other “paranormal threats to the
empire.” Aside from their studies in
Weird Science and Alchemy, the Royal Engineers were a natural choice because of
their Ubiquitous nature. They could be
sent anywhere to investigate supernatural events under the ruse of regular
engineering duties.
